Yeah, if I have the time and headspace I want to try that idea of adding an attributes column to the GeoDataFrame and then try to build the Py5Shape group from the rows (might be slow). Something I solved and forgot how (I have to look at older sketches) is converting the graph components of OSMnx (drive and walk graphs). I think flipping and scaling the geometry on (0, 0) made things easier than on "center" in this case.
