Casa das Canoas (1951) by Oscar Niemeyer
Built in 1951 in Rio de Janeiro, Casa das Canoas was Oscar Niemeyer’s own home and a defining work of Brazilian modernism. Designed to blend seamlessly with nature, the house follows the curves of the landscape, incorporating a massive rock into its layout.
