✍️ Researchers at George Mason University discovered an exploit in Apple's Find My network that allows hackers to silently track any Bluetooth device, despite having anti-stalking features.
--
👉 Hackers can silently track any Bluetooth device through Apple's Find My network
👉 The exploit can be used to turn any device into an AirTag without the owner's knowledge
👉 The attack has a 90% success rate and doesn't require sophisticated administrator privilege escalation
👉 The researchers informed Apple about the issue in July 2024, but the company has yet to fix it
