Many in bitcoin leveraged the power of money and super PACs in this election.
But guess what? So did shitcoins. And it’s dramatically increased the odds of shitcoining at every level in our government.
I come from the progressive left that calls for banning super PACs and really fighting hard against money and bribery in our politics and govt as much as possible.
Bitcoiners would actually benefit from this, because it allows truth and open discourse in a democracy to flourish! Like that fact that Bitcoin is far superior than these other projects.
Instead, with money and influence encouraged and legal in many ways intersecting with our government and elections, shitcoiners are all up in the White House and govt. of course in a free market we can’t get rid of this kind of influence completely, but in can be fought and less encouraged than it is by getting rid of superPACs and money influencing elections.
