I just felt like sharing this...
My computer desk is built in to a dormer in my room. There's a window, and the surface of the desk is butted up against it and attached to the 3 walls. Nothing fancy, just plywood and some brackets. I haven't even bothered to paint it. (It had been nicer at some point in it's existence, but a previous tenant had ruined it).
No room for speakers, I got a cheap soundbar (That actually sounds decent and has spdif!) and mounted it on the top of the window sill.
