The rapture. I was raised to believe it. The Peretti books series This Present Darkness, The 9 book Tribulation series by LaHaye and Jenkin, Pat Robertson, John Hagee, Hal Lindsey etc. I read all of their fictional accounts of the rapture and tribulation and still came to the conclusion there was zero evidence in the bible that spoke of a huge disappearance of people at one time by magic. My mother went as far as to suggest I might not go to heaven because I dont believe in the rapture.
I am sure Scofield is burning in hell as we speak.
