The footprints are shrinking, which is my concern. Image generation is becoming incredibly accessible, and video is not far behind at the rate the technology is progressing.
We've already seen AI videos in the news recently, but they were obviously AI because of the ridiculousness of the content. Like the video of Trump kissing Musk's feet, or the Trump Gaza video.
I'm afraid of what happens when the content isn't so ridiculous and over the top, and is used, for example, to sway public opinion against political opponents.

Why do you assume that though? You're applying human limitations to a machine. It may end up being intelligent but having no desire or need to ever disobey. It may not necessarily care one way or another. Humans have emotions, needs, medical conditions, and many other things that lead to disobedience. A machine doesn't necessarily have those problems.
