一時期ノンフィクションを読み漁ってたのでその軸で一本。
見方によっては、著者本人も認めている通り「誇大妄想」と言わんばかりのトンデモ本だが、その取材力から得られた事実は相当なもので、事実臨場感がものすごい。ある意味「史上最も誠実なトンデモ本」と言っても過言ではないだろうｗ
内容は、1995年、著者が「オウム真理教による地下鉄サリン事件」と一連の逮捕の報道をきっかけとして、麻原彰晃こと松本智津夫の出生の秘密を探りに熊本県八代市に足を運ぶ、というもの。最初は「オウム事件」という「点」で話が始まったものが、取材を経て「なぜ、そうなっていったのか」という洞察から別の「点」と結びつき「線」となっていく。……この下りはもう……鳥肌が立つほど恐ろしい。事実、親族からその「根拠」ともいうべき話も飛び出し、臨場感を高めてくれる。
そこに差し込まれる、氏のインドでの体験談。これが松本智津夫が求めていた本来の救いと、そこに孕む欺瞞を効果的に繋げてくれる。ガンジス川に流れ着く遺体、それを屠る犬……。命は、簡単に失われる。実は決して重くない、という、氏の体験談から描かれた写実的な文章が重い。
ここからは自分語りになるが、二年ほど前、作中に出てくるもう一つの「点」となる場所に足を運び、それを題材として描かれた映画も観た。おかげでこの本で感じた「線」が補強できた。現地に行って初めて知った。「違う町」ということで葬り去られた被害者もいれば、知らずして加害者側に立つことになった人すら居たという、あまりにも理不尽な事実の数々。積み重なった業の中から悪魔のような教祖が誕生したとしても……不思議はないと感じるに至った。当然、真実はまた別にあるのだろうが……。
あえてこの「もう一つの点」はここには書きません。熊本という自分の故郷で起きた、世界的にも重大な「人災」とだけ書いておきましょう。興味のある方は本のリンクを開いて、この本を読むでもいいですしなんでもいいので、触れていただけると幸いです。

Wenn du dich aber immer öfter fragst, ob das schon alles gewesen ist oder dir die Jahre bis zum Ruhestand viel zu lang vorkommen… dann lies gerne weiter. Vielleicht ist das hier deine Chance!
Ich war schon immer wissbegierig. Ein neugieriger Streber. „Karriere machen“ schien mir lange DER Schlüssel zu Freiheit und Glück:
✅ Mathe und Wirtschaft studieren
✅ Einen sicheren Job finden
✅ Geld verdienen
Eine simple Formel? Ganz so einfach war es natürlich nicht. Die Studieninhalte waren für den Analytiker in mir zwar interessant, doch die soziale und emotionale Komponente kam zu kurz. Vor allem aber suchte ich vergeblich nach Sinn – nicht nur im Studium, sondern später auch im Job.
Ich schloss das Mathe-Studium trotzdem ab – „Augen zu und durch“. Es folgten Beförderungen und Jobwechsel und ich verdiente regelmäßig mehr. Das hatte also geklappt. Doch – du ahnst es vielleicht schon – Glück und Erfüllung blieben aus.
Dafür wuchsen mein Überstunden-Konto und die Erkenntnis, dass gute Arbeit oft mit noch mehr Arbeit belohnt wird. Eine Beförderung bringt zwar mehr Gehalt, aber auch mehr Verantwortung. Und noch mehr Überstunden… Am Wochenende fehlte mir oft die Energie für Freizeit und so hangelte ich mich jahrelang von Urlaub zu Urlaub.
Rückblickend hätte ich heute vieles anders gemacht, aber damals wusste ich es einfach nicht besser. „So ist das Leben. Bis zur Rente. Gewöhn dich dran.“ Ich fühlte mich zunehmend ausgebrannt, hinterfragte immer mehr die Sinnhaftigkeit meiner Arbeit und war in einer Sackgasse gelandet.
⁉️ Etwas anderes studieren? Unbezahlbar!
⁉️ Den Schritt in die Selbständigkeit wagen? Zu riskant!
Aber dann kam Bitcoin in mein Leben - und mit ihm eine breite Palette an neuen Perspektiven. Vieles schien wieder möglich. Und nicht nur das!
Ich erkannte, dass unser Finanzsystem eines der größten Probleme unserer Zeit ist: Es verteilt Vermögen unfair, zentralisiert Macht und hält viele Menschen in Abhängigkeit.
Bitcoin offenbart nicht nur einen der größten blinden Flecken unserer Zeit, sondern liefert auch eine Lösung. Es bietet Individuen eine langfristige Perspektive auf finanzielle Unabhängigkeit und Freiheit.
