某お医者さんが始めたオンライン互助会のログを YouTube で見てたけど、しんどくて 5 分で見るのをやめた。なぜか女性の患者さんに多いけど、なんで診察室で主治医に話すべき内容を公開の場で大ぴらに話すんだろう。
病棟でもなぜか女性の患者さんは病気のことをやたら熱心にしゃべるけど、あれって病状悪化するよね？なんで悪くなる行動をするんだろう？
それに同じ精神科領域の患者にいろいろ答えを求めてもあかんでしょ。診察室で医師を頼りなよ、としか言えない。病棟ではそれが事実かそうでないかはともかく具合が悪くなってきたからと話を止めてもらって離れた席に座るようにしてたけど。
こっちも自分の病状のことで精一杯なのに、なんでそれがわかんないだろう。それがわかんないから急性期病棟に入ってる、あるいは保護室に入ってるっていうのは理性ではわかるけど……
そんなわけで病棟内では他の患者さんと距離を置いたほうがいいことが多いです。
同室の人のたてる物音が夜中にうるさくて眠れないって毎日夜中の 3 時頃から食堂にいる患者さんもいたけど (自分は中途覚醒で寝れなくて気分転換に食堂に出ることが多かった)、別の時間に食堂の全テーブルの裏を覗いてまわって何かを探してるの。
そのときわかったのが、あぁ盗聴器を探してるんだと。つまり統合失調症の症状で盗聴妄想があって、恐らくは夜中の同室の患者の物音がうるさいというのも恐らく幻聴……
本当に 5 分おきに病室を出入りする患者さんもいるので、同室の患者の物音がうるさいっていうのを同情して聞いていると、その人の統合失調症の症状を支持する効果が生じてしまい、その人の症状が一向に良くならないどころか悪化することが多い。
なのでそのことに気がついたときは、自分の具合が悪くなってきたとか適当に理由をつけて (それが仮に事実でないとしても) 距離を置くようにするのが、お互いの治療上よい。

Hey, #Libreoffice peeps. I want to create a macro that automatically aligns a selected image to the top left corner of an Impress slide. I'm using the latest stock Ubuntu version (24.8.4.2) which apparently has a nonfuctional "record macro" service (even after turning this on in Advanced settings and restarting Liibreoffce, it doesn't appear as a menu option). Anyone know how to do this? Thank you!

But Cromite isn’t perfect either (no web extensions, and also based on Blink, but at least it’s the closest you can get to an “ungoogled Chromium”).
All I’d need to be happy would be a mobile version of Librewolf, or any “ethical” Firefox fork.

Yeah, if I have the time and headspace I want to try that idea of adding an attributes column to the GeoDataFrame and then try to build the Py5Shape group from the rows (might be slow). Something I solved and forgot how (I have to look at older sketches) is converting the graph components of OSMnx (drive and walk graphs). I think flipping and scaling the geometry on (0, 0) made things easier than on "center" in this case.

Vocês já conseguiram rodar um relay ws na rede i2p? Tentei aqui e não consegui nem com type = server nem http. Segundo este artigo de um nostriano é possível rodar tanto via tor quanto i2p. Precisa de algum proxy reverso como nginx? Testei com o nostr-rs-relay e o nostrudel local mas não funcionou via rede i2p com proxy configurado no browser. Apenas funcionou a versão da surface localhost, e quando coloca a versão i2p nos relays não consegue estabelecer conexão via websockets, embora a versão http normal funcione. É um mito que funciona nessa rede? Até agora não vi nenhuma prova ou relato, apenas do artigo abaixo.

Before Twitter, more specifically multiple experiences of being a cyber-bullying victim, I wasn't able to quite get the mental process of victimes of bullying. During the school years, I was mostly an observer rather than a victim. I knew bullying would be a painful experience, but I couldn't possibly imagine the feeling of being in the middle of it.
How can I describe it... it feels like being pressured by very thick air. Maybe just like when you're diving into the deap ocean. The pressure goes up, you feel trapped, and your brain loses its normal sense of sound judgment. Even if you have good reasoning and inference skills, those skills don't work properly because the fear and anxiety take over the whole cognitive process. Human beings are designed to be social animals and bullying experiences are perfect examples to prove that social instinct comes before other functions of human brain.
(Just wanted to leave a record of my personal theory before looking up academic papers, because I believe it's important to develop my own language before attempting to borrow academic language to describe my personal experience.)

It’s more than narrative though.
It’s a natural outcome of a system that includes lots of passive flows including index funds & algorithmic trading, volatility traders, & funds with mandates that prevent them from buying spot BTC or even MSTR stock.
Ultimately, BTC should be the very catalyst to unwind these stupid anti-free and sane market issues. But until they do, it should continue.
Then the very end state of MSTR is probably still worth more than the underlying BTC but some smaller mNAV like 1.1-1.3x. Why would it still be worth more than the underlying BTC? Because when you’re the largest public holder of BTC on a bitcoin standard, you’re going to be able to have opportunities to deploy it profitably *in BTC* terms.
