Is there much we can do as users and those improving clients/protocol to lower the potential of this happening in the future? Or is this just a double edged sword situation where openness is default and everything is fairly permanent and public due to the nature of relays and servers? It's not like we can just encrypt everything server side right?

Luego mi mente acostumbrada a pensar en los últimos cinco años en #Bitcoin dijo: "el protocolo de Bitcoin tienen funciones increíbles", sí, me dije para mis adentros:
✨La función hash SHA-256 (Secure Hash Algorithm 256-bit).
✨El algoritmo ECDSA (Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm) para la firma digital de transacciones.
✨Criptografía de clave pública y privada basado en la teoría de números.
✨Un algoritmo llamado Proof of Work (PoW).
✨La recompensa se reduce a la mitad cada 210,000 bloques.
¿Son funciones?, por supuesto, ya que cada uno de los puntos anteriores, utiliza funciones matemáticas, re lindo todo esto que es #Bitcoin.
