I've only had it for a couple days, so I'm only speaking from limited usage here, and I primarily use my tablet for reading books that I don't have physical copies of And writing on the go
I guess it depends on what you do with a laptop, I still have use cases for a laptop, but if you're doing, minimal stuff like, nostr, email, basic web browsing, it could replace a laptop as long as you don't need any, heavy hardware usage.
I am a little bit disappointed. I had a 2019 model Samsung tablet and upgraded to this Pixel tablet and I'm a little disappointed that even though the Pixel tablet is definitely hardware upgrade, it feels much more flimsily made than the Samsung tablet. Plastic case versus Samsung's aluminum. So we'll see how it holds up to abuse.

Today I learned about systemd-tmpfiles(1). My first use for it is cleaning up ~/Pictures/Screenshots and ~/Videos/Screencasts on #GNOME. It doesn't make much sense to let these directories grow forever 😃.
