Das ukrainische Verfassungsgericht hat seit drei Jahren keinen Präsidenten – Auszug: „Selenskyj hat (…) [den] Vorsitzenden [des Verfassungsgerichts] Oleksandr Tupytsky Ende 2020 per Dekret abgesetzt. (…) Im Juli 2021 erklärte das Oberste Gericht in Kiew dieses Dekret für illegal, konnte sich aber nicht durchsetzen, weil der Präsident das Votum ignorierte. (…). Mit derzeit noch elf Richtern wird das nötige Quorum von zwölf für die Entscheidung über einen neuen Vorsitzenden verfehlt. Damit hat die Ukraine keinen höchsten Verfassungsrichter mehr – ein beispielloser Umstand. Im Exil gab der 62-jährige Tupytsky kürzlich (…) ein ausführliches Interview. (…) [Darin] warf Tupytsky Selenskyj vor, er habe bewusst das Verfassungsgericht außer Gefecht gesetzt, damit es nicht überprüfen könne, inwieweit es legitim war, die fällige Präsidentenwahl auszusetzen und weiter im Amt zu bleiben.
