The way I look at it the national currencies of modern economies are literally just negative value debt tokens which are only used for trade because of the violent state backed monopoly.
These currencies will continue to lose value against Bitcoin and everything else that has any kind of intrinsic value that doesn't come from violent monopolies.
At the end of the day the most useful thing you can do with cash is use it as kindling for starting a fire.
The fact Bitcoin does not need a state backed monopoly on violence to retain value alone makes it more useful as a currency.
The less we need the state the harder the state will fight to justify its existence

For the peeps who want a #ttrpgstr post, this one's for you.
I've been looking into a bunch of different things TTRPG-wise, and how I can DM/GM better for older D&D titles, or OSR games of a particular style (anything D&D 3.5e and earlier). I've already been trying to learn Obsidian for organizing campaigns, but something may seem amiss in using proprietary software with Free Software plugins (that doesn't make sense).
I first tried my hand at Logseq, seen as the FLOSS alternative to Obsidian. It doesn't come close with the plugins I would need, so I decided upon Obsidian. PC's would be done using a notepad for me, or if supported, PCGen (which is a Java program). Heck, sometimes a text editor with a text file would suffice for me.
Then deciding upon the TTRPG I'd GM/DM. I DM'd 5e before (I would not recommend it after what WOTC and Hasbro tried to pull with the OGL garbage, and the new 5.2 SRD, which is trash), but switched to the OSR. I've always wanted to GM Basic Fantasy RPG (the entirety of it is free in PDF form) in a Theater of the Minds-style of GMing (plus, I already have a campaign ready to go long-term).
Next up, the software I'd use that's FLOSS for playing online. A FLOSS Discord alternative will work best for me, as not only am I vehemently refusing to use Discord (because of weaponized JavaScript), but also because of my ethical considerations and philosophical convictions as to what goes on inside of Discord. It's disgusting, and I want nothing to do with it. SimpleX, Matrix, Nerimity and Jitsi will work for me as alternatives. Maybe Polynom too.
I could go ahead and write a long-form blog post using nostr:nprofile1qyxhwumn8ghj7mn0wvhxcmmvqy8hwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnddaksqgrafcz9qw4jvc2a6hefasyt222re0jlz7avcvqjkf3zpj4zx243fs4hhwmw if y'all would like me to do so, so I can go over the FLOSS you'll probably want to use for TTRPG play.
I hope this helps the TTRPG players of #nostr as well as my attempt to #grownostr in the TTRPG scene.

Sounds grim, but I think this will ultimately be a good thing. I'd use the same models to pen test my work before publishing it and continuously test it over time. This will mostly be a problem for legacy systems that are poorly maintained. And frankly, the weak systems should be attacked. It's the only way technical evolution can occur. The weak products will get gotten.
