Yes I like this concept, I would not have discovered the toots if it hadn't been for the bridge. It is too bad fediverse will miss some interactions now because of unawareness, and it might be challenging for people (like me just now 🙈) to distinguish original identities and the replicated fediverse identities.

Since the start of my career I’ve been keeping notes on the technical projects, challenges and solutions I’ve encountered. Some are just one paragraph of things I want to be able to look up later, and some turn out as full 6-part getting started series, like the attached blog series where I’m learning how Kubernetes works, and how to migrate applications and AI workloads to a cluster.
Before GPT and LLM’s, I must have consulted these kind of public blogposts on the open web thousands of times while learning and troubleshooting. If it wasn’t for this kind of public sharing of content, there would be no data for the LLM’s to train on, and the results wouldn’t be anywhere near as good as they produce now. Of course writing is not just about feeding the LLM’s, it is about structuring your thoughts, making a point and developing the skill of getting your point across.
Movements like indieweb, POSSE (publish on your own site, syndicate elsewhere), pkm and people like Bert Hubert, Nicole van der Hoeven Nick Milo and Ernst-Jan Pfauth have been good sources of inspiration on this topic. My “learning in public” is bringing me great benefits, such as improving my writing, starting conversations and getting feedback. If you aren’t already, give writing a shot, even if it’s just a comment, and let me know how it has served you!

I'm a longtime fan of influxdb and have been collecting timeseries for years now. I've created a writeup on my timeseries forecasting project in which I've configured an Argo cron workflow to query InfluxDB, run a Darts timeseries forecasting image and push the prediction data back to InfluxDB, which is then visualised in a Grafana dashboad. Everything is running on a low power Raspberry Pi Kubernetes cluster, but could also be set up to run with docker compose.
Would love to hear your thoughts and hear about how and if you have set up similar data transformation and machine learning pipelines.

Abstract:

The recent ZX hack is quite an impressive long con hack on a carefully picked open source project, slowly gaining trust and then getting hidden malicious code signed. I was quite excited today that the Rebound EP was published on Spotify, as this is the place most people still look for your music when they see or hear your name somewhere.
But it didn't get close to the warmth I felt from the reactions and zaps received on nostr:npub1yfg0d955c2jrj2080ew7pa4xrtj7x7s7umt28wh0zurwmxgpyj9shwv6vg that were automatically equally split between me and Tim. Thanks #nostr and let's keep creating together ❤️

While doing so, I was building a list of followers that can't be censored or deleted by any company that can interact with me trough chat, stream, music streaming.
In each of the pieces of content I was able to setup split payments, which means all of the contributors instantly got their commissions, with negligable transaction costs and without the platform taking a big cut.

Oh yes the Pi is receiving the same midi as the (drum)sampler, and visualises the midi kick snare and highhats signal in processing on hdmi or the small screen on top of the rig, when im not plugged into HDMI 🙌
