Yeah, fair enough. I've personally not really found any reason that I need to root my device, but I obviously run Lineage OS on it. With no Google Play services. The only useful thing I did with root when I did use it a long time ago was run network signal guru so that I could force lock bands on my cellular modem.

I love it and also agree with all of the points made. It might be a good idea to mention that my commentary on #China shouldn’t be taken as China = Good and America = Bad. My aim is just to highlight the current confines of the bilateral relationship given what decisions were made by both parties over the past couple of decades.
But again, I don’t just agree with your points, I’ll add one more. There was the decision by China to literally build islands in the South China Sea and claim they were for “scientific purposes”. A few years later, those islands were militarized.
Long story, short. China took complete advantage of the “international rules based order” and was enabled to do so due to America being so very preoccupied with the Global War on Terror. All it is that China received were strongly worded memos. Too easy to just disregard.
It was, in my opinion, American hubris - with a dash of hypocrisy - that led to China’s rise over the past two decades. And now China has reached escape velocity. Containment isn’t an option. That should have been the American policy back in 2010.
That leads us to the current state of play. The points of leverage are changed and it is through this lens that American policy needs to operate.
Again, the more disagreement the better. It’s why Nostr is so great. There’s a demand for accountability. I wouldn’t want it any other way.

I always wonder why Android devices don't have some form of sudo or reboot your phone into a custom mode that allows you to do root stuff in your phone and then go back to your traditional operating system with no root I can also see like plug in a USB C USB flash drive into your phone to do root access and then once you pull it out itI can also see like plug in a USB C USB flash drive into your phone to do root access and then once you pull it out it disables root. Also with I believe it's Android 16 maybe that they have the Linux operating system on your phone. I would think maybe you can use that as a way to jailbreak your phone like how you do like a PS3 with like the web browser.

The way I look at it the national currencies of modern economies are literally just negative value debt tokens which are only used for trade because of the violent state backed monopoly.
These currencies will continue to lose value against Bitcoin and everything else that has any kind of intrinsic value that doesn't come from violent monopolies.
At the end of the day the most useful thing you can do with cash is use it as kindling for starting a fire.
The fact Bitcoin does not need a state backed monopoly on violence to retain value alone makes it more useful as a currency.
The less we need the state the harder the state will fight to justify its existence
