LA ÚLTIMA HIJA DEL DRAGÓN (Basado en Mulán)
Capítulo 1: La traición bajo la nieve
El viento de la frontera no perdona. Sopla como cuchillas invisibles, tallando la piel hasta que ya no se siente. El campamento chino parecía dormido bajo el manto blanco, pero Mulan sabía la verdad: había sido abandonado.
Ella respiraba hondo, con el corazón hecho nudos. A su alrededor, cadáveres de sus propios hombres. No por el enemigo. Por sus superiores. Había sido una trampa.
— "Retirada estratégica", dijeron... — murmuró, clavando su espada en la nieve, temblando de rabia más que de frío.
Sus ojos escaneaban el horizonte. En el borde de las montañas, banderas mongolas danzaban como llamas. Pero lo que captó su atención no fue el enemigo… fue el silencio del imperio. Nadie vino por ellos. Nadie lloró por los caídos.
Esa noche, entre ruinas y fuego, Mulan enterró a sus compañeros. Uno a uno.
Cuando el último cuerpo desapareció bajo la tierra helada, se quitó el uniforme imperial y lo quemó.
— “Honor, dicen. Pero el honor no calienta a los muertos.”
Desde la sombra, alguien la observaba.

Capítulo 2: El rostro del enemigo
Dos días después, Mulan se rindió. No porque estuviera vencida, sino porque había entendido que la guerra que valía la pena ya no se luchaba con los mismos colores.
Fue capturada por un grupo de jinetes mongoles al borde de la tundra. El líder, un hombre con ojos como obsidiana y cicatrices que contaban más historias que las palabras, la miró curioso.
— ¿Por qué vienes sola, guerrera?
— Porque ya no tengo a nadie.
(pausa)
— Y porque ustedes sí entienden lo que significa morir por algo real.
La carcajada del líder fue breve, pero sincera.
— Muchos vienen a suplicar por sus vidas. Tú vienes a ofrecer la tuya. ¿A cambio de qué?
Mulan lo miró sin pestañear.
— A cambio de fuego. A cambio de justicia.
El líder asintió. No dijo que confiaba en ella. No lo necesitaba. Sabía que una tormenta se avecinaba, y ella caminaba en el centro de ella.
Capítulo 3: El pacto de sangre
La prueba no fue un combate. Eso habría sido fácil.
En el corazón del campamento mongol, al pie de una colina custodiada por tótems de cráneos antiguos, Mulan fue conducida a una tienda circular decorada con símbolos que jamás había visto: espirales, ojos abiertos, llamas cruzadas por garras.
Dentro, el aire era espeso como el humo de un incendio viejo. Una anciana con la espalda encorvada y la mirada sin pupilas la esperaba.
— ¿Sabes lo que estás haciendo, hija de dragones? — dijo la anciana sin mover los labios. Su voz parecía brotar de las paredes mismas.
Mulan no respondió. Solo avanzó.
— El imperio no te mató. Solo te rompió. Y tú viniste aquí a buscar las piezas… ¿pero sabes a quién le pertenecen ahora?
La vieja sacó una daga curva, de hueso. Con ella, cortó la palma de Mulan sin aviso. La sangre cayó sobre una piedra negra con inscripciones antiguas. La piedra se encendió.
— Este es el pacto. Ya no sirves a un emperador. Sirves al caos que lo destruirá. A la sombra del norte. A los sin nombre.
La sangre de Mulan no solo ardía: se transformaba. Empezó a tatuarse sola por su brazo, dibujando un dragón de fuego y ceniza, enrollado con flores muertas.
El dolor era insoportable. Pero Mulan no gritó.
De entre el fuego de la piedra, emergió una figura: un dragón oscuro, diferente a Mushu. Más grande, más viejo. Con cuernos como ramas retorcidas y ojos que llevaban siglos de guerra.
Se posó sobre su hombro. No dijo nada. Pero Mulan lo entendió. Ahora tenía poder. Pero no sin costo.
Cuando salió de la tienda, el campamento la miró distinto. Ya no como prisionera. Ni siquiera como aliada.
Era una señal.
