I think it’s the exact opposite. People never had the ability to communicate complex thoughts and emotions and memes filled the need perfectly.

It’s not that some of us need to be shaped but rather some of us would be non-functional without it. We tend to project our own capabilities and assume others are the same but it’s just not true, the % of people who can’t picture an apple in their mind or who have no inner monologue for example is just scary. We are surrounded by NPCs.
I love the concept of rules without rulers but find it impossible to reconcile with what I know of humans. With what I’ve learned from studying elite theory. From history. From the practicalities of power vacuums.

Honestly, I would say personally avoiding debt is the most important thing.
And it's probably ideal not to move around too much as that could affect the child's mental, and social development.
Might not be the answer you want to hear but try to make the current house work for now, and just keep an eye out on the prices, and interest rates then snag a deal which you have enough money saved up, and invested.
I'm not a homesteader yet but that's my thought on the matter.

国务院总理李强4月27日主持召开国务院常务会议，部署开展美丽河湖保护与建设行动，研究进一步加强困境儿童福利保障有关举措，讨论《中华人民共和国医疗保障法（草案）》，决定核准浙江三门三期工程等核电项目。会议指出，近年来通过深入开展碧水保卫战，我国水生态环境质量持续向好。要进一步增强责任感使命感，坚持精准治污、科学治污、依法治污，统筹水资源、水环境、水生态治理，推动重要流域构建上下游贯通一体的生态环境治理体系，大力推进河湖生态保护与建设。要狠抓源头治理，以大江大河、重要湖泊为重点，加强监测溯源，严防工业污水、生活污水、农业面源污染等超标排放。要健全长效机制，坚持疏堵结合，引导企业实施节能减排改造，支持地方补齐环境基础设施短板，增强全民河湖保护意识，营造共建共享美丽河湖的良好氛围。会议指出，加强困境儿童福利保障事关儿童切身利益、家庭和谐幸福、社会文明进步。要坚持儿童优先发展和最有利于儿童的原则，带着责任、带着感情，共同呵护困境儿童健康成长。要持续完善基本生活保障、医疗康复、基本公共教育、心理健康关爱等服务体系，根据困境儿童需求分类施策，有效提升福利保障水平。要筑牢人身安全保护体系，预防和依法严惩侵害困境儿童的各类违法犯罪行为。要增强工作主动性、前瞻性，压实各方责任，切实维护困境儿童合法权益。会议讨论并原则通过《中华人民共和国医疗保障法（草案）》，决定将草案提请全国人大常委会审议。会议指出，要以此次立法为契机，进一步完善我国医疗保障政策体系，有效保护参保人合法权益，打牢人民群众病有所医的制度基础。要加强医保基金监管，健全监督检查机制，严厉打击虚假诊疗、虚假购药等欺诈骗保行为。要加强普法宣传教育，提升医疗机构、医务人员和群众守法意识，规范就医秩序和医疗行为。会议强调，发展核电必须确保安全万无一失，要压实参建单位和业主单位主体责任，按照全球最高安全标准建设和运营核电机组，持续加强安全监管能力建设，切实兜牢核电安全保障网。
