Osage orange/Hedge/Maclura pomifera
Burns hotter than any other wood in the world. Common in much of the US. Has some popping/sparks and leaves some ash. Well seasoned oak will burn long and clean with very little ash to clean and no sparks coming at you. Also splits nice where hedge can be much more difficult to split. Locust is between the two but has huge thorns. Different people prefer different woods for different reasons. If you have space to store your wood on the south side of a wall with clear plastic/old windows you can dry it yourself.
Given a small space and relatively short use window I think you probably would want clean fast burning wood for a sauna. Maybe even cedar or other scented wood for at least part of the burn? Could also be too hot with hedge or locust.

They’ve moved very far on enrichment. They’re trying to move on weaponry. The question now is what to do. Happily, we have a president in Washington who’s committed, as he says — and as he said to me many times, including just recently — we can’t allow Iran to have nuclear weapons. And I said, I absolutely believe that. I’ve devoted a good chunk of my life to prevent that.
There are two ways to do it. One is to get a deal that would prevent them from doing that by dismantling their nuclear infrastructure. You have to dismantle their nuclear infrastructure. That means not just that they will not enrich uranium, but that they will not have the capacity to enrich uranium. Which means you destroy the centrifuges. You remove, of course, the nuclear material that they’ve already enriched. There are a few other things you have to do, but that’s the crux of it.
The real deal that works is a deal which removes Iran’s capacity to enrich uranium for nuclear weapons.”
