Congratulations to my students Casey and Noah for this research poster on how high heels alter muscle activity in the leg. We used EMG to compare muscle activity in the soleus, gastrocnemius, and tibialis anterior muscles when walking in 3-inch heels vs barefoot. Also, the footprints are from two identical female twins, one who wears heels frequently and the other reportedly never wears heels. Guess which is which.

Não sei. Meu senso de recompensa não é mais facilmente levado com essas questões. Eu simplesmente não desejo mais me divertir.
Devo me forçar a lutar porque lá no futuro vou entender e agradecer? Ter um carro vai me realizar no futuro, pelo menos irá por sentido na minha luta diária, nem que seja apenas uma fatia de sentido? Por enquanto sigo tranquilo. Não espero por mais nada, nem busco ativamente nada. Estou ocioso por um tempo, só não quis falar isso para mim mesmo.

Just watched A Dangerous Method (2011) directed by David Cronenberg. His third movie in the crime/drama phase. It’s about Freud, Yung and the start of psychoanalysis. Didn’t enjoy that one as much. It’s blend and vanilla/boring. At the same time it’s also pretentious. The many jumps in time are lazy storytelling. Don’t watch it.
