📖 **Description**: Faint CME to the south in SOHO LASCO C2 and to the south southeast in STEREO A COR2, with a clear flux rope seen in C2 running difference imagery. The source could be a minor eruption just west of AR 4068, centered ~(S25W20) at 2025-04-28T07:19Z seen in SDO AIA 304/193, on the boundary with the eastern part of the large SW coronal hole (so there could be an eastward deflection).

📖 **Description**: Very faint CME to the NE in SOHO, best seen in running difference imagery. It has a fuzzy front (except in a couple earliest timestamps of SOHO LASCO C2). The CME is extremely faint in C3 and even in C2 the front disappears after a few early timestamps. The CME is fully covered by a nighttime data gap in STEREO A. Its source is most likely an eruption best seen in GOES SUVI 284 from an unnumbered AR/plage region (~N20E40) to the NE of AR 14076 beginning at 2025-04-27T23:25Z.

Probably mostly laptops & desktops. Servers are likely not running Windows, or have already been rotated out to have the newer hardware.
And yes, wiping and reinstalling the OS will make you *reasonably* safe from pre-installed malware.
There could still be nasty stuff in the BIOS/UEFI. That is less common, but it HAS been seen in the wild. That's very difficult to be completely confident that it's been eliminated, but re-flashing the BIOS with the latest version will clean out some malware. There are others that can survive that. It just depends on how confident you want to be (or, put another way, how paranoid you are).
