And i could add, it is just like #bitcoin.
You can publicly see every move of BTC on the blockchain.
The problems come when or if your identity is linked to theses moves.
Because it is a way to know what you do personally even fiat bills have better privacy because the only person who know your identity when you spent your money is the one you give money.
With BTC all the history of transactions attached to your(s) wallet(s) are linked to your person (in case of KYC, and without using tools to "hide" your transactions).

The Bitcoin network needs US ALL to use it as often as possible.
nostr:npub1qtvl2em0llpnnllffhat8zltugwwz97x79gfmxfz4qk52n6zpk3qq87dze mining pool needs you to run at least 1 bitcoin machine with them. (It can be a 1th/s bitaxe, a 13th/s s9, a 95th/s s19, a or the more powerful 200th/s s21.) Everything helps!!!
nostr:npub1k8s3skyy5mg5h07w8zvuk5lgrqadmejz7fjdpl60zaznw8sxzdxqxm6y88 sells the bitaxe at a great price and has support if you don’t know how to start it up. (Just make sure to point it to nostr:npub1qtvl2em0llpnnllffhat8zltugwwz97x79gfmxfz4qk52n6zpk3qq87dze.

mempool policy/standardness is not consensus code. It just extra rules on top that try to reduce the spam on the p2p network and which transactions you want to keep around in your “ready to accept” queue, aka mempool.
Since there could be more transactions you could fit in your system memory, mempool policy helps make sure you see transactions that have non-spammy things like some reasonable min fee or excessive data carrier sizes (this is the controversial bit, whether its worth maintaining that logic you can hack around anyways)
With or without this core setting you can still give the transaction to a miner directly to mine it, since consensus code doesn’t care about policy.

As far as I know, damus notedeck is the only client that has the ability to reveal 0 information about your nostr activity to relays, via the local relay model.
The idea is since the UI is only updated from local subscriptions, you can create a remote filter that reveals no information: {}. and simply negentropy sync everything in the past hour/day (sync is wip still)
This will stream all updates to your local node and ingest the notes into your local db, updating the real, private local subscriptions on your ui.
This is kind of like a bitcoin node: monitoring all incoming blocks and updating your local balance, without revealing anything about your wallet to the network.

perhaps, it is a good way to argue and debate.
Zaps are not built to be so secured because for example there is warning while using "mint".
Wwe must trust a mint before using it (how can we give trust without being able to verify?).
If you loose your zap 1000 sats = 1$
It is so important to over secure it for his usage ?
if you loose 0,1BTC = 10,000,000 sats = 10,000$
The usage and the scale is important to know if it worth change or not.
Zap is a good feature for entertainment and give some values to things.
But they are not built for huge exchanges that need real high security.
It is my point of view.
Thanks for yours too.

It should be a damn cat but it is not loading. For some reason it always seems to be half broken.
Maybe the 3rd time it’ll work

At some level of feature disparity, though, the choice of another app is no choice at all.

validity is defined by the implementation. Any slight bug can cause a divergenge and the situation would end up like this when trying to figure out whos wallets have the correct balance and spend-ability conditions for the same utxos

FWIW I did suggest that to them. They said they didn't want to rely on just MARA and F2Pool to mine the transactions, so they'd prefer to stick to creating unpeunable outputs.
Their system has time constraints so there is a deadline to get the transaction published or theft can happen.

Bitcoin's core value proposition is its stability and predictability. The protocol rules shouldn't keep changing on a whim. Frequent tinkering undermines confidence. This is why there's so much drama over this tiny OP_RETURN change. We're the opposite of Monero.
Monero'ers seem okay with trusting a centralized team of developers to push major protocol changes and hardforks every six months with no debates or discussions. Everyone just accepts whatever the main developers do, updates their nodes with no second thought or worry about the consequences. Recipe for failure.

I completely agree with this.
#bitcoin has been created to be resilient and secure.
For all other experimental features, shitcoin already exists.
The only purpose of #bitcoin MUST be security first and resilience.
The evolution should only be to fix bugs and vulnerabilities, and perhaps one day fix the scale issue.
It is not good to open the door to other "unknow risks" with features updates.
