Dins la comunitat Bitcoin, un dels temes que genera més debat i preguntes és la computació quàntica i com podria afectar la seguretat de la xarxa. Sovint sentim a parlar d'informes o experts que avisen que els ordinadors quàntics podrien arribar a "trencar" la criptografia de Bitcoin aviat.
Per analitzar-ho a fons, entendre millor la situació real i aclarir dubtes, hem organitzat aquest meetup.
Comptarem amb un expert de referència que tenim a casa nostra: en Jordi Herrera-Joancomartí.
Molts ja el coneixereu de meetups anteriors; va participar el 2017 per parlar de SegWit i l'abril de 2023 per explicar-nos Taproot. En Jordi és Doctor en Matemàtiques i Catedràtic al Departament d'Enginyeria de la Informació i les Comunicacions de la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB).
