- moderation
i don't want to moderate kind 1's, but i want it to be public
- resources
i can run this relay on a very cheap server since it won't have to scale past the niche use case of code snippets (which could actually get pretty difficult if MCP servers start using this relay for agents, but at least i will only need to deal with increasing resources in that case)

I am split in 2. I do not vibe code perse but i do throw in questions to llm's. It's good to see they also come up with stuff that is better or different than what i thought of myself. I learn a lot from this as well.
But if aforementioned ceiling turns out to be a lot higher than whatever i could hope to accomplish i'd prefer to discover this sooner rather than later.
I am still super sceptical if this will happen, but it would not be the first type of job that would see severe obsoletion in history.

I am also more of a supporter of "small fedi" and see it as an antidote to technology corporations or perhaps more of a movement that is about a collaborative grassroots movement.
However, the essay elaborates on a few points that "big fedi" is already making:
- For it to grow, everyone involved should focus on a single technical standard
- The focus should be on onboarding, training and developer experience.
- The goal is to involve the whole world
In the end, both views will probably have to get along, in the best case they cooperate with each other.
