That is lovely to say, however, the devil is in teasing out what is 'clearly good' or not, of course!
If something catches drama fire, there is a decent chance that alarms about unintended harmful 2nd order effects broaching on the health of Bitcoin or even just progressive entrainment of the contrarians into passivity, or something else is maybe possibly actually valid and the stakes (Bitcoin!) require you to then take a beat to think about it beyond it just being in the category of a GUI change (because maybe just maybe you mischaracterized it as such).
Respect the alarm system, it is a good alarm system. I dgaf if it has rampant false trips, it has saved us from tigers in the past, it will save us from tigers in the future.
I mean unless we all see in our crystal ball that everything is totally totally cool of course.

It doesn't seem to me that perverse incentives are fixed by adding a voluntary "polite" option. As long as it's cheaper for degens to take the impolite avenue, then it's pure hopium to think that's not exactly what they should be expected to continue to do.
That being said, I don't believe I have a direct vote in what Core decides to do. I can only vote with my feet. OP_RETURN limit notwithstanding, everyone should be seriously considering finding an alternative - even if only for the sake of decentralization. Core clearly has way too much centralized influence over the network as it currently stands.

It's getting more and more integrations with other software each update. I currently host 11 models, and with ollama as the backend, you can customize them quite extensively, though I leave mine pretty vanilla.

There are very few running anything other than core. And there are very few nodes running core 29. What makes you think everything will change entirely when 30 comes out that everyone will all of the sudden update to it?
About 21k nodes. 881 of them are running Bitcoin 29. The rest are older versions. knots makes up about 3.5% of nodes.

Errado. Isso é inviável. Quem diz isso está mal informado ou agindo de má fé.
O mempool é só política local. Quem realmente decide o que entra em bloco são os mineradores.
Muitos acreditam cegamente em influencers sem entender o essencial:

"Mas não deveríamos priorizar as transações financeiras?"
