Its not hard to imagine a world where Bitcoin—a high powered money—is regulated to accredited investors, heavy AML, xpub registration and more.
Individuals who didn’t exchange to Bitcoin, who never self-custodies their funds, will be forced to buy ETFs.
The ETFs, institutional and nation-state adoption comes at a price.
And it looks like Bitcoin has crossed the threshold.

Murky indeed- your statement about the extremes is true of course but not very practical. It doesn’t tell us much about influence without some measure of connectivity/flow routed by the nodes. The number of Knots nodes could be higher than 80% and not make a difference if the economic weight of the 20% was a lot more (as it almost certainly is). These types of measures give people either false hope or a reason to get the pitchforks out… because it confuses how the network really works (and has ALWAYS worked) without additional context.

Eben du musst erstmal auf die opreturnbot Seite gehen, dann deinen Müll eingeben (probiere mal 400 Zeichen) und dann siehst du das dir die Müllablagerung 15800 Sats kostest obwohl aktueller Fee bei 3 sat/vb ist was ca. 1600 sats entspricht. Das ist um einiges umständlicher und teurer (ca. 10x) als gäbe es kein Limit und machst es aus deiner Wallet zu 3 sat/vbyte. Das meinte ich mit dem falschen Signal das ausgesendet wird wenn es kein Limit mehr gibt.
