The so called mandatory spendings are the biggest source of waste, fraud and abuse.
The so called permanent/secure jobs are the biggest source of scam and fraud.
etc..
The propaganda, ads and marketing are done so relentlessly, that most people are forced to believe them.
But mandatory and permanent are inflexible terms and are against the law of nature. Law of nature is change and flexibility..,abandon the outdated, replace with new and move ahead.
So, without questioning,..the same people taking all the benefits all the time, same people staying in same power/position/job etc.. create all kinds of rots, corruption and stagnation. The deep state is such kind of disease.
So, nothing is a sacred cow, everything require questioning, cross checking and updation time to time,😂☕🎈👍.

That’s incredible to hear. They obviously have good parents who care about them.
My bf is an insurance agent who will soon own his own agency. He has been able to get the trust of many customers all because he doesn’t use a smartphone. He’s been using it for 5 years, and in those five years went from working in a jimmy john’s, to about to own his own insurance agency. It freed him. It sounds exaggerated, but smartphones have devastated our young people.

"No," he says, "this is impossible. There is no such animal." And with that he turns away from the giraffe and walks calmly on, not casting even a single glance back at it. Most people have the giraffe syndrome when it comes to those controversial areas. Especially so affected are scientists, with the exception of a very few pioneering spirits. The problem is that they view reality through a tiny window, and they like to stay within the frame of that window. They decide that if the giraffe is too big for their window, then it's too bad for the giraffe; as far as they are concerned, it is nonexistent. Fortunately, the levels of consciousness into which I divide the different phenomena are easily available, so that anyone who is willing to spend the time and effort does not need to rely on my description of things. He can go to the zoo and see things for himself.

But continuing to fund via grants over the long term does seem to be detremental for most projects. It kills any sense of urgency. The incentives are not there to build a useful product for users.
