In that one minute, we'll either return or take off", he adds. A minute and a half later, the pilot informs that they will need to return to the departure position. A few seconds later, the air traffic controller passes new instructions and asks the pilot to confirm the reason for aborting takeoff to satisfy Aena, the concessionaire responsible for managing Congonhas. "The passenger is on the wrong flight, right?", the pilot asks. "And only just told the flight attendant", he adds. When questioned, Latam, responsible for the boarding, did not respond to the fact that a passenger was on the wrong flight. The airline says that flight LA3940 (Sรฃo Paulo/Congonhas-Rio de Janeiro/Santos Dumont) on Monday "had to return to the departure position during the taxiing process, taking off again and landing safely at 22:25 at the destination". Aena says there was no impact on operations.
