📖 **Description**: Very faint slow CME, a partial halo in SOHO LASCO C2, with a messy front consisting of multiple consecutive faint unevenly shaped fronts, seen extremely faintly to the northeast in SOHO LASCO and a bit more clearly to the northwest in STEREO A COR2. To satisfy this constraint - NE in LASCO, NW in STEREO - its longitude has to be between -155 and -175 degrees, so likely this is a very far-sided event. No clear source for it was found in EUV imagery.

📖 **Description**: Fast jet with a fuzzy front seen to the southwest in SOHO LASCO and to the south in STEREO A COR2 and not seen in GOES CCOR-1. Its source is likely the 2025-05-24T03:31Z eruption in the plage located in the middle of the large southern coronal hole that crossed the central meridian on 2025-05-15. The eruption was seen as brightening, dimming and post-eruptive arcades in SDO AIA 193 and 304 and is loosely centered around S45W32.

The Amazon-owned robotaxi company Zoox has issued its second recall in a month following a collision that occurred in San Francisco. It has already submitted a voluntary software recall notice to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) after an internal review of the incident and has already deployed the software update to its fleet of 270 vehicles. According to the company's announcement, an unoccupied Zoox robotaxi was struck by an electric scooter after braking at an intersection to give right-of-way to other motorists. The person on the scooter fell, and the robotaxi continued moving and only stopped after completing the turn. Zoox's robotaxi didn't hit the rider, but a company personnel met them and offered medical attention for minor injuries. The incident in San Francisco took place on May 8, shortly after the company announced a voluntary software recall following a separate incident in April wherein a Zoox robotaxi and a passenger car collided in Las Vegas. Despite the recall, Zoox said that its vehicle was stopped and wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary when it was struck. Still, it rolled out a software update to improve its vehicles' perception tracking capabilities and to prevent them from moving forward again when a road user is in a vulnerable position nearby. While the robotaxi didn't make contact with the rider after they fell on the road, the company most likely realized that it could have, which could lead to more serious accidents in the future. Zoox rolled out its autonomous vehicles for testing on the streets of San Francisco in late 2024. That's fair. But 1. A lot of progress has been made in that 7 years. 2. It seems to me as a noob (and I'm trying to discover the truth) that LN and ecash are making Monero irrelevant for most people.
I'm not being convinced on why I need to run an entirely separate thing with it's own tradeoffs and UX issues when Bitcoin has so much more going for it on the use and adoption front.
I don't store my wealth on Monero at this point. I have cooler product options for Bitcoin.
I just don't see it winning this race, so for me, it makes more sense to get those benefits in a Bitcoin compatible way. That's just how I see this ending.
I have nothing but love for the Monero philosophy. Its community members have always treated me well. I ran Monero before Bitcoin. But I left it. I don't run it anymore and using it was more cumbersome and seemingly pointless given adoption. That's just my intermediate noob perspective.
