Those are all good points.
But that just leads me back to the basics : do we have better odds with a Jade without secure element but where both the Jade and the oracle server have to be compromised, or do we have better odds relying only on a secure element?
But, I must admit that hardware wallets are probably not the best choice for really huge amounts. I remember reading Greg Maxwell saying he preferred an offline computer (probably with a live-dvd, I assume).

So far not really.
My design package, nostr:npub1wf4pufsucer5va8g9p0rj5dnhvfeh6d8w0g6eayaep5dhps6rsgs43dgh9's models package and relay connections are all Dart.
For MLS we'll eb bridging Rust to Dart, like nostr:npub10td4yrp6cl9kmjp9x5yd7r8pm96a5j07lk5mtj2kw39qf8frpt8qm9x2wl does.
But I don't see why using Rust in your package would be an issue.

golang could benefit from something like “defer” but for for-loop bodies.
If you open files in a loop you don’t want to defer closing them because then you have a lot of open file handles, but if you don’t use defer then you have to explicitly close them anywhere you have an error check or “continue” in the loop body.
Sure you can solve that by creating a new function for that loop body and do the defer in there but sometimes that can lead to other code smells.
It would also be convenient for zeroing out slices in each loop.

Telegram is almost certainly a Russian honeypot. A rather successful one: it's even still widely used in Ukraine, and was used at the beginning of the full scale invasion before they finally switched to Signal. The freedom of speech stance is just a way to get more users.
Most likely Durov has pissed off Putin somehow and was likely to end up killed. So fleeing to France to face charges was his next best option.
He's no hero. He built a dangerous service with atrocious privacy.

Olha, por incrível que pareça, pensando em taxas somente, acho que são as exchanges no geral (binance, coinex...). Se for adicionar a questão Kyc, Receita Federal, report ou não report etc. Aí tudo passa a ser uma análise de custo / benefício / risco. Dependendo da extensão do seu optout patrimonial do sistema, comprar em corretora até que reporta, ter btc, não declarar e e nao estar nem ai para RFB pode ser uma boa. Agora se seu optout não é tão intenso assim, vai ter que se preocupar se a exchange reporta..... e por aí vai.
O problema de existir governo querendo te f..... a todo instante, é que entre você não fazer nada e tomar medidas muito arriscas para não se f..., haverá sempre alguém te ofertando uma opção intermediária bastante custosa na qual vc, na teoria, se f... menos. Então vc troca não se f... muito por se f.... um pouco no caminho intermediário. Ocorre que as vezes, mesmo nesse caminho, vc se f... muito. Tipo: alguém quer entrar nos EUA ilegal, se vc nao tentar, talvez vc se f... muito no seu país de merda, se tentar só vc, talvez se de mt mal. Então vc pode pagar um coiote que talvez consiga te botar lah por um valor mt alto, as suas economias da vida toda. É solução intermediária, cara, que pode lhe ajudar mt, mas tb vc pode pagar o coiote e ainda assim se f..., que é o pior dos cenários.
