I removed eth login, because no one was using it, and the login flow was not that good. It would ask the user to sign a string and derive a gun keypair from it. That was necessary, because Iris was using GunDB, which uses P-256 keys and eth is secp256k1.
But I guess window.ethereum would be directly compatible with a similar flow as window.nostr? Even if you don't buy shitcoins, window.ethereum is natively present in Brave browser.

I think when SN launched there weren’t tools available to build an embedded non custodial LN wallet into a browser web app. The tools exist now (and are currently maturing) to do so.

Matrix is federated not decentralized. One server controls your identity on matrix and stores copies of messages of all your groups. If the matrix server you signed up on bans/censors you, you lose your identity, followers and post history.

I don't think uptime is that important. Several relays means redundancy is already there. I think we'll need the fastest servers running on cheapest hardware and don't care about the reliability or uptime that much. The design dictates this. Fastest servers for most online users.

Books can be gamed. But videos, you have to show the face and show that your 'skin' is in the game. Much more can be transmitted over videos. They are more 'real'.

Hey. I forked the client(❤️) and added parse for magnet links. Using webtorrent, for now the torrent client is declared in the new component that I created also modified basepost to support it(I started yesterday).

For lengthy posts it would be nice if clients showed the first several lines and then a button to expand the full note if interested. Scrolling past several long notes that I’m not interested in is cumbersome.

nostr的客户端最好是能封装到个人电脑或者手机上，毕竟bs架构的客户端（好绕），有被墙风险，大大增加使用门槛。所以封装成应用程序直接和中继器通讯（允许自己添加中继器），更为合理。
