I still enjoy books, but podcasts and audiobooks are my go to.
Daily, I drive a couple of hours, walk my dog for about 2hrs and workout for almost 1hr. That's 5hrs a day that I can use to study and learn about the world through audio form.
Books are nice for when I settle down at night or when having a chill morning. But for the most part, they're just not as efficient.

Der Alte-acteur Rolf Schimpf op 100-jarige leeftijd overleden
De Duitse tv-acteur Rolf Schimpf is op honderdjarige leeftijd overleden. Hij was in Nederland vooral bekend door zijn rol als hoofdinspecteur Leo Kress in de ZDF-serie Der Alte. Schimpf nam de rol in 1986 over van Siegfried Lowitz en vertolkte die twintig jaar lang in 223 afleveringen.
Volgens informatie van de nieuwssite Bild is hij rustig in zijn slaap overleden in het verpleeghuis in München waar hij woonde.
Bild bezocht de acteur in november toen hij honderd werd. Hij zei toen dat Leo Kress zijn favoriete rol is geweest. Ook zei hij bij die gelegenheid dat het "niet grappig is om zo oud te worden. Je vergeet zoveel, en de mensen die het belangrijkst voor je waren, zijn allemaal gestorven."
Dat gold ook voor zijn vrouw, de actrice Ilse Zielstorff, met wie hij bijna vijftig jaar getrouwd was. Zij overleed in 2015. Schimpf had ook een zoon uit een eerder huwelijk, die in IJsland woont.
Gastrol
Toen de in 1924 in Berlijn geboren Schimpf begon met Der Alte, had hij al veel acteerervaring. Hij had de toneelschool in Stuttgart gedaan en kreeg daarna een vaste aanstelling bij theaters in Luzern en Bern.
Sinds eind jaren 50 was hij ook op televisie te zien, vooral in bijrollen. Eind jaren 60 kreeg hij een vaste rol in de serie Hafenkrankenhaus. Ook speelde hij in de ARD-krimi Tatort en in bijna 50 afleveringen van de misdaadserie Soko 5113.
In 2006 werd de laatste aflevering van Schimpf als Der Alte opgenomen. Toch zou hij nog een keer terugkeren in deze rol. In 2009 speelde hij een gastrol als gepensioneerde hoofdinspecteur Leo Kress in de 340ste aflevering van Der Alte.

I think it may be a hardware failure. I've had it plugged into the original pixel charger it came with for two days now and still nothing.
No normal boot loading screen, even with a hard restart, etc.
Just to try, I even took a head gun and warmed the whole device up quite a bit just to see if it would help some solder contacts or other connection points, as a last ditch effort. Still nothing.
We'll see what it does in a few days time, but I've already assumed this 5a is toast after only ~16 months of use.

Sin embargo, se animó a dar detalles acerca de los siguientes pasos que le gustaría afrontar en su carrera.
“Estoy en los últimos años como profesional y uno tiene que analizar muchas cosas. Siempre me fijé en lo deportivo. Tengo la sensación de que me encantaría jugar en un club histórico, que sea top. Lo hice en el Ájax, pero es liga holandesa. Va a depender del mercado”, confesó, demostrando su interés por mantenerse en en Europa, lugar que le gustaría abandonar “con la sensación de haberlo dado todo”.
Y al ser consultado por un destino en particular, profundizó: “Me gustaría explorar la Premier. Creo y siento que es la mejor liga, la más competitiva. Los partidos son muy dinámicos y tiene mucha historia, sumado a los estadios, que hace todo muy interesante”.
Sin embargo, dejó en claro que el sector de la cancha en donde se desempeña le puede jugar una mala pasada ante la cantidad de clubes interesados en sus servicios. “El lateral izquierdo es una posición donde se necesita, pero a la vez se tiene. No es como un delantero, que a veces metés goles y te llevan igual”, expresó.
Tagliafico habló de su posible vuelta al fútbol argentino
A pesar de que su idea principal es mantenerse en la elite del Viejo Continente, también es una realidad que los hinchas de Independiente y Banfield se ilusionan con ver de nuevo a Tagliafico vistiendo su camiseta. En ese sentido, el propio jugador deja abierta la puerta al sueño al declarar: “Yo nunca digo nunca. No tengo hijos y capaz al tener familia quiero estar cerca de mi gente. No le cierro las puertas“.
Aunque, advirtió: “Vine a Europa con 25 años, era muy maduro. Tengo los mismos años de carrera en Europa que en Argentina. Por eso tengo la sensación de poder llegar a un club top. Quiero tener la tranquilidad de sentirme bien conmigo“.
