Why can't we just open one subscription to two or three relays of each followed person in order to build the default feed?
If that was possible that would make implementing "outbox" even easier than implementing a client that just uses a static set of relays. Caching notes from is easy, it's easy to continue fetching from where your cache ends. Relay selection is easy, no need to build complex filters aggregating multiple requests and do fancy relay selection based on whom you're following matches whom. Everything is just one loop.
Nostr is easy again, developers are happy. Even the dumbest web developer can do censorship-resistant Nostr clients for everything.

Medium. We have some stats on stats.nostr.band but this doesn't include relays in which it cannot read from, such as relays from Japan that are region locked and relays behind the Great Firewall of China. Many of the Japanese Nostriches use relay.damus.io so this may not matter, however this should indicate that there are holes in the metics used knowing that these users would be excluded. What else is excluded? Who knows!?

É, eu tenho o mesmo problema, políticos são a escoria da humanidade
Foi depois de muita loucura que resolvi focar em problemas do meu próprio mundinho. Moro no Sul do Brasil, o clima é agradável, morava com meus pais, passaros, cães, vacas e cavalos eram meus amigos. A cachorrada trouxe comigo, ...agora moro uma quadra do mar, povo só no verão, mas passo a semana no mato... não sei pq da minha raiva e pessimismo. Culpa da cultura, do pensar, do conhecimento ...em muitas ocasiões sinto inveja dos idiotas úteis em sua ignorância e alienação .
Mas, tento identificar o que sei fazer e como posso usar pra melhorar minha vidinha, sempre controlando a raiva, escrevo artigos na minha área, nutrição, e poemas que as vozes da minha cabeça, muitas vezes, ditam pra mim. Evito pensar bobagens plantando árvores em casa e na casa das amigas e quem me der papo, vizinhos até.
Em vez de consumir notícias negativas e mentirosas sem parar, seleciono fontes não sionistas. Não acho graça nos memes. Hoje invisto em relacionamentos com pessoas que me inspirem e que estejam ativamente envolvidas em ações positivas, de preferência em meu favor. Um deslize e já mando se foder. Odeio todo mundo, sempre tentam se aproximar de mim pra se aproveitar.
O segredo é passar da crítica passiva à ação agressiva, no meu caso, começando gatinha e atacando como leoa, mordendo onde se pode gerar um impacto real ...hihihi. O divertido é fazer os inimigos chorar e esperar que passem boiando, sempre rir dos infelizes. Tive uma excelente transformação, me tornei uma pessoa melhor, desde que casei.

Hence, we have a built-in tendency to focus on the bad things, the sad things, threats, our "enemies," and negativity while neglecting the bright side of life, good people, and the other side of the coin, so to speak.
Generally speaking, the digital realm, foremost social media, fuels this tendency, and sometimes it even exploits this very aspect of human nature. While some things might overlap to some extent, cyberspace and the real world are different realms, the latter being the one that truly matters.
Of course, keep on building software to improve the world bit by bit, but shy away from neglecting what matters in life. Most folks out there are very fine people. Touch grass and give hugs.
