Both are centralized systems. Also, it depends on the content, even on X. Many accounts are silenced or locked. Go tell the "xRp ArMy" what stingking pile of shit is their xrp coin and when many of them report your account, your account gets locked and you need to proove that you are not a bot or file a complain. I have filed numerous complains and I got my account unlocked every time. But now my VPN is blocked too, at which point I say, fuck it.

In the traditional system, you might have an IRA/401k for long term retirement savings, CDs or money markets for medium term savings, a savings and checking account at a bank for routine bills and direct deposit, and then credit cards and some cash for walking around with. Most people inherently understand there’s a place for each type of value in terms of risk and storage and liquidity. I see BTC through that lens. Cold storage, hot wallets, ecash, even the ETFs, can all have a place in the overall picture. We can hate what banks have become- but still recognize that forever people have desired a safe (and insured) location to hold their funds. I for one am happy to support businesses leaning forward and building the future we want to see.

Google Pays Samsung 'Enormous Sums' for Gemini AI App Installs
Google pays Samsung an "enormous sum of money" every month to preinstall Google generative AI app, Gemini, on its phones and devices, according to court testimony, even though the company's practice of paying for installations has twice been found to violate the law. From a report: The company began paying Samsung for Gemini in January, according to Peter Fitzgerald, Google's vice president of platforms and device partnerships, who testified Monday in Washington federal court as part of the Justice Department's antitrust case. The contract, set to run at least two years, provides fixed monthly payments for each device that preinstalls Gemini and pays Samsung a percentage of the revenue Google earns from advertisements within the app, Fitzgerald told Judge Amit Mehta, who is overseeing the case.
