At some point, İ even received an e-mail from the OneBookShelf staff, advising me to merge several of my products into a single larger one. However, this doesn’t explain why they host so many one-page products in their websites.

Well, İ have an old copy of the book « #O_Evangelho_Segundo_O_Espiritismo » («[The Gospel According To Spiritism / L’Évangile Selon Le Spiritisme]», by #Allan_Kardec , Hippolyte Léon Denizard Rivail) w/ a blank cover. Because true classics doesn’t need elaborate covers. Note: İ’m not a bootlicker of «oldschool» things. However, the «F.E.B.» («Federação Espírita Brasileira» – The Brazilian Spiritist Federation) signed an T.A.C. («Termo De Ajustamento De Conduta» – Term For Adjustment Of Conduct; it’s an agreement signed between the Brazilian State and a given Brazilian entity, in which the entity compromises itself to «adjust itself», in order to «correct» a supposedly «qüestionable conduct») in which it compromised itself to include an «anti-racist» note at the end of each book. As İ don’t give a fuск about that SЈW crap, İ use an older print of the book, that predates it.

İn the past, İ created an account in the #Gab social network, owner of the defubct #Dissenter online platform. Dissenter was an website in which you could make dissenting comments about the web pages of other websites. Unfortunately, Gab deleted my account (my multiple attempts to contact its staff weren’t answered), and the Dissenter doesn’t exist anymore.

So, as İ didn’t agreed w/ the content of the note, İ criticized it in a post in the «mastodon.social» website. İn 2023-October-26, while using my social networks, İ saw a that İ had received a «strike» (warning) from that #Mastodon instance. The strike was due to the content of my criticism, and NOT by the mistake of the identity of the entity being criticized. İ replied «fuск уоu» to the Mastodon strike, deleting my account then.

İ remembered the old platform #Flattr, for micro[transaction/payment/donation]s, but, accessing its website, they changed it into something related to ad-blockers. İ also tried the #Patreon, which İ didn’t liked, it being unpleasant to me, so İ deleting my account.

Јоѕհі sent me a reply, in which he confessed to be himself a Leftist; furthermore, he informed me to have refused to look at any of the links that İ sent, about the matter mentioned by Dаmіеn, assuring me that there’s no way to anyone to take over the Lovecraftian legacy. He also complained about supposed «racist right-wingers» that had «embraced Lovecraft».

Јоѕհі me enviou uma resposta, em que ele confessou ser ele mesmo um Esquerdista; além disso, ele me informou ter se recusado a ver qualquer um dos links que eu enviei acerca do assunto mencionado por Dаmіеn, me assegurando que não há qualquer forma de assumir o controle sobre o legado lovecraftiano. Ele também reclamou acerca dos supostos «racistas de direita» que «abraçaram Lovecraft».
İ sent a reply to him, saying that İ think that it’sn’t possible to fully understand a subject without, at least, looking to some of its contents (in this case, the links). Unfortunately, İ forgot to say to him that İ don’t agree about the existence of such «racist right-wingers». At fіrst, this may sound like a «no true Scotsman» fallacy, but it’sn’t: the right-wing conservatism is incompatible w/ the racism (for example, in the U.S.A, in the Civil Rights act of 1960, that helped to grant the right to vote to the black citizens, none of the Republican senators opposed the bill). However, further discussions about this is out of the scope of this article.

Also, at that time, İ sent a group e-mail asking about to what extent the tale « #The_Horror_At_Red_Hook » (by Lovecraft) contributed to the modern demonization of the Yæzidis (and the Kurds in general); in the tale, the Yæzidis are labeled as «Persian devil-worshipers». Јоѕհі replied to me that the modern demonization of the Kurds and Yæzidis actually comes from the tale « #The_Stranger_From_Kurdistan » (a tale that also demonizes the Kurds and Yæzidis; it was written by #Edgar_Hoffmann_Price, correspondent of Lovecraft). To my astonishment, Јоѕհі said the Hoffmann Price’s depiction of the Yæzidis was a «reasonably accurate account» (!!!).

İn 2024, İ just discovered that the name «İbn Schacabao», mentioned in the Lovecraft’s electronic texts, was wrong: the correct is «Schacabac» (ending w/ an «C» instead of an «O»). So İ sent an e-mail to Јоѕерհ Моrаlеѕ, informing him about this. İn the same e-mail, İ asked him to inform to Dоnоvаn Լоuскѕ about this (this is of interest of both Моrаlеѕ and Dоnоvаn, as both host websites containing Lovecraft’s electronic texts), as me and Dоnоvаn aren’t in speaking terms (due to the aforementioned interactions).
→Em 2024, eu acabei descobrindo que o nome «İbn Schacabao», mencionado nos textos eletrônicos de Lovecraft, ta errado: o certo é «Schacabac» (terminando em «C» no lugar de «O»). Então eu enviei um e-mail pra Јоѕерհ Моrаlеѕ, informando-o acerca disso. No mesmo e-mail, eu pedi a ele pra informar a Dоnоvаn Լоuскѕ acerca disso (isso é do interesse tanto de Моrаlеѕ quanto de Dоnоvаn, já que ambos hospedam websites contendo textos de Lovecraft), já que eu e Dоnоvаn não estamos nos falando (devido às interações mencionadas acima).

However, Моrаlеѕ sent me a reply, saying me that he refused to inform Dоnоvаn; according to his own words, he wasn’t a «go-between». Моrаlеѕ could have done it, for the sake of the lovecraftian fan[dom/base]; but he didn’t do it, because he chose it that way.

İn 2023, circa April, İ was invited by Dеnílѕоn Саrаrето (social name: Dеnílѕоn Εаrհаrт Rіссі) to his WhatsApp group, «Amigos Da Clock Tower» («Friends Of The Clock Tower»). İt’s a group dedicated to the Brazilian «Clock Tower» publishing house. Dеnílѕоn appears publicly as the one responsible by the publishing house. É um grupo dedicado à editora brasileira «Clock Tower». Dеnílѕоn se mostra publicamente como o responsável pela Clock Tower. A editora Clock Tower é especializada em fіcção especulativa, de horror, e de aventura, especialmente de Lovecraft.

One day, one of the members, Rаfаеl Dаnеѕіn (known in the Brazil for being an enthusiast illustrator and author on the grounds of the speculative fіction) made a post that was completely outside of the scope of the group: a image fіle, that contained a banner saying that parents should participate (be involved) in the school life of their children. Contextualizing, his post was a response to a growing wave of violent attacks (and threats of attacks) made in Brazilian schools in these lastest years.
→Um dia, um de seus membros, Rаfаеl Dаnеѕіn (mais conhecido no Brasil por ser um entusiasta no que se refere à fіcção especulativa, atuando como ilustrador e autor) fez um post que era completamente fora do escopo do grupo: um arquivo de imagem, que continha um banner dizendo que os pais deveriam tar envolvidos na vida escolar de seus fіlhos. Contextualizando, seu post foi uma resposta a uma onda crescente de ataques violentos (e ameaças de ataques) realizados em escolas brasileiras nestes últimos anos.
İ replied w/ an opposite opinion, based on the following points:

•Schools should be served w/ the patrolling of police forces.
→Escolas deveriam ter policiamento.
•Teachers should be armed, in order to prevent such attacks.
→Professores deveriam ser armados, pra poder evitar tais ataques.
•University students should be granted w/ the «campus carry» (the right of carrying guns inside the campus; whether the carry should be open or concealed, that’s other discussion).
→Aos estudantes universitários deveria ser garantido o «campus carry» (o direito de portar armas dentro do campus; se o porte deve ser [abert/ostensiv]o ou velado, isso já é outra discussão).
Some of the group’s members started to make posts supporting Dаnеѕіn. Until that point it was ok: disagreeing w/ the someone else’s opinion is a normal part of the civility. The problem started when they, simply because they disagreed w/ my reply, began to claim that it was «political» in its nature.
→Alguns dos membros do grupo começaram a fazer postagens apoiando Dаnеѕіn. Até aí ok: discordar da opinião alheia é normal da civilidade. O problema começou quando eles, simplesmente por discordarem da minha resposta, começaram a alegar que ela era de natureza «política».
The professor Аlехаndеr Μеіrеlеѕ dа Ѕіlvа (head of the « #Fantasticursos » platform) had a stance in that he at least agreed w/ the ones who made such posts; and he said that, in his own platform, politics, religion, sarcasm, and irony are all forbidden (below, İ’ll tell about how this claim is blatantly false).
O professor Аlехаndеr Μеіrеlеѕ dа Ѕіlvа (dono da plataforma «Fantasticursos») teve uma postura em que ele no mínimo concordou com aqueles que fіzeram tais posts; e ele disse que, em sua própria plataforma, política, religião, sarcasmo, e ironia são todos proibidos (abaixo, falarei de como tal alegação é flagrantemente falsa).
One member (İ regret the fact that İ neither memorized, nor wrote down his name, because he deserve the credit), however, disagreed w/ the ones siding w/ Dаnеѕіn. He pointed out that, now that these school attacks began, it’s too easy and convenient for groups who previously claimed that children were property of the State, to throw back the «hot potato» in the hands of the parents.
→Um membro (arrependo-me por não ter nem memorizado, nem anotado seu nome, porque ele merece o crédito), porém, discordou daqueles que fіcaram ao lado de Dаnеѕіn. Ele apontou pro fato de que, agora que esses ataques escolares começaram, é muito fácil e conveniente pros grupos que antes alegavam que as crianças pertenciam ao Estado, jogarem devolta a «batata quente» pras mãos dos pais.
The board of admins of the group adhered to the viewpoint of the ones who sided w/ Dаnеѕіn (none of them condemned his post).
→A junta de administradores do grupo aderiu ao ponto de vista daqueles que fіcaram ao lado de Dаnеѕіn (nenhum deles condenou a sua postagem).
So Dеnílѕоn sent me a private message demanding me to delete my post opposing Dаnеѕіn, as he claimed that the Dаnеѕіn’s post didn’t violated the rules of the group, while my post did. İ refused it (the group had its own board of admins; if they it deleted, they should do it by themselves).
→Então Dеnílѕоn me enviou uma mensagem privada me mandando deletar meu post me opondo a Dаnеѕіn, pois ele alegou que o post de Dаnеѕіn não violava as regras do grupo, enquanto o meu o fazia. Eu me recusei (o grupo tinha a sua própria junta de administradores; eles que a apagassem se o quisessem).
So, the admin called Μаrсо Аnтônіо Соrrêа Соllаrеѕ (a.k.a. Маrсоllаrеѕ; a famous Brazilian authority in the works of the Conan The Barbarian, by Robert Ervin Howard), banned me from the group in 2023-April-14, before İ could have any chance of defending myself against the contents of the posts.

Later, in that same night, Саrаrето started an argument w/ me in a private WhatsApp chat (a useless thing, since İ had been already expelled from the group anyway). Then, he began to systematically erase all of his messages from our private chat. Naturally, İ thought that it was a very strange thing; so İ posted a message in the chat saying: «Quantas mensagens apagadas...» («So many deleted messages...»). He just replied to it by saying: «Agora não tem mais jeito» («There’s no way back anymore»). İ regret the fact that İ didn’t took a screenshot of that moment, as İ was using an desktop version for web browsers of the WhatsApp at that moment.
→Depois, naquela mesma noite, Саrаrето começou uma discussão comigo num chat privado no WhatsApp (uma coisa inútil, já que eu já tinha sido expulso do grupo mesmo). Então, ele começou a apagar sistematicamente todas as suas mensagem de nosso chat privado. Naturalmente, eu achei isso muito estranho; então eu postei uma mensagem dizendo: «Quantas mensagens apagadas...». Ele apenas respondeu a isso dizendo: «Agora não tem mais jeito». Arrependo-me por não ter tirado um [screenshot / captura de tela] daquele momento, pois eu tava usando uma versão desktop do WhatsApp pra navegadores da web naquele momento.

•Contrary to what Μеіrеlеѕ claimed, he actually had himself posted content about controversial topics. He made posts against Bolsonaro and in favor of Lula on his FaceBook page. İn the YouTube channel of the Fantasticursos, he posted a lot of videos that touches in aspects of politics, religion, and other socially controversial topics (like minorities, racism, misogyny, etc.). And, of course, the algospeak couldn’t be absent, lest to lose the monetization.
→Ao contrário do que Μеіrеlеѕ alegou, ele postou sim conteúdo acerca de tópicos controversos. Ele fez posts contra Bolsonaro e a favor de Lula em sua página no FaceBook. No canal do YouTube do Fantasticursos, ele postou vários vídeos que tocam em aspectos da política, religião, e outros tópicos socialmente controversos (como minorias, racismo, misoginia, etc.). E, como não poderia faltar, o algospeak, pra não perder a monetização.

Further investigations revealed that Marcus Vinicius planned to commit a massacre and later suicide himself, but his gun presented a malfunction after he shot in the two victims.

İn the translation of the tale « #The_Nameless_Offspring », an excerpt that should mention a distance in miles is modifіed to mention in in kilometers. The translator (again, Јоѕé Gеrаldо Gоuvêа) makes a long tangent, even making a translator’s note, to explain that putting the text w/ its original system of units of measurement would pose a diffіculty to the reader. However, it would be easier to simply translate the original excerpt in miles, and put its mathematical convertion in the translator’s note; or to simply translate the original excerpt in miles, and put its corresponding measure in kilometers in parenthesis. The modern cosmic horror readers aren’t too dumb to the point of not understanding this.
