Há um tempo atrás o TPB se me lembro bem implementou por debaixo do pano um cryptominer em js que rodava sem parar na página da web, e os adblocks focaram em encontrar esses Scripts e bloquear, mas isso é diferente do que estou me referindo.
Esse paywall também serve como filtro de tráfego, uma forma de custear algo silenciosamente sem ter muita diferença pra quem acessa normalmente, mas fazer muitas requisições teria um custo maior. Depende da implementação, na verdade.
O que estou falando é que quando for fazer pow fazer para a rede Bitcoin ao invés de fazer para minerar algo sem valor como notas ou badges ou qualquer outra coisa só para provar que colocou poder computacional no ato.
Além de aumentar a descentralização de certa forma (melhor seria se cada um minerasse para si mesmo), coloca peso nas requisições da web e possivelmente no futuro em qualquer tipo de conteúdo da web. Comprar itens em um jogo? Claro, isso custa 10 segundos de pow!!

Dat komt onder meer vanwege het feit dat gaswinning uit kleine velden wél doorgaat, en dat ligt gevoelig. Ook ontstond volgens Top gaandeweg het beeld van een 'feest', terwijl het de bedoeling was dat het om een 'markeringsmoment' zou gaan. "Dat alles heeft het draagvlak doen afnemen."
Nij Begun
Een andere reden voor de afgelasting is Nij Begun (nieuw begin). Dat is de naam van het plan dat het kabinet heeft gemaakt. Dertig jaar lang wordt gewerkt aan herstel en perspectief voor Groningers en Drenten.
Het moment om stil te staan is dus voorbij, zegt Top, er wordt nu gewerkt aan herstel. "De tijd heeft ons ingehaald." Wel zijn belangrijke thema's die een rol speelden bij het markeringsmoment volgens haar verwerkt in die agenda's. "Denk hierbij aan het stimuleren van sociale betrokkenheid en trots."
1 miljoen
Het evenement zou 'Vanuit Hier' heten en er lag een budget van 1 miljoen euro voor klaar. Eigenlijk zou het op 5 oktober vorig jaar plaatsvinden. Maar de vergunning kwam niet op tijd rond, dus werd besloten het evenement te verplaatsen naar het voorjaar.
Tot teleurstelling van de organisatie, die sinds april 2024 bezig was met de voorbereidingen. Artiesten, schrijvers en sporters zouden vertellen over 65 jaar gaswinning en de gevolgen voor Groningers.
Verschillende artiesten stonden op het programma, onder wie de Groningers Bert Visscher, TikTok Tammo en Zoë Tauran.
Maar dat gaat dus allemaal niet door. De voorbereidingen hadden in oktober al drie ton gekost. Dat geld is 'echt weg', zei de gedeputeerde eerder tegen RTV Noord. Wat over is, kan aan iets anders worden besteed.
