Na verdade, a maior parte da população prefere a simplificação e ela é muito mais comum do que jamais foi, pois os meios de comunicação hoje são muito mais informais e acessíveis.
Em relação a modificação de termos do inglês para a nossa gramática, já a muito tempo isso tá caindo em desuso, principalmente para termos que tivemos contato mais pras últimas 5 décadas.
Não usamos xampu, mas shampoo; nem mause, mas mouse; nem internete, mas internet; e tantas outras palavras...

Right now, in most client to DVM flows that require payment, the DVM first responds with a kind 7000 payment request. An anonymous reader shares a Nature story: The United States is known for the deep polarization between its two major political parties -- the right-wing Republicans and left-wing Democrats. Now an analysis of hundreds of thousands of policy documents reveals striking differences in partisan policymakers' use of the scientific literature, with Democratic-led congressional committees and left-wing think tanks more likely to cite research papers than their right-wing counterparts. "There are striking differences in amount, content and character of the science cited by partisan policymakers," says Alexander Furnas, a political scientist at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and a co-author of the analysis, published in Science on 24 April. The researchers used the government-policy database Overton to assemble around 50,000 policy documents produced by US congressional committees in 1995-2021 and around 200,000 reports from 121 ideologically driven US think tanks over a similar period. These documents contained 424,000 scientific references.
A statistical analysis revealed that congressional reports are now more likely to cite science papers than before. But, in each two-year congressional cycle, documents from committees under Democratic control had a higher probability of citing research papers, and the gap between the two parties has increased. Overall, documents from Democratic-controlled committees were nearly 1.8 times more likely to cite science than were reports from Republican-led ones. The differences were starkest for reports produced by partisan think tanks, which the researchers say are "key resources for partisan policymakers." Left-leaning think tanks were 5 times more likely to cite science than right-leaning ones. And there was little overlap between the science referenced by the two sides: just 5-6% of studies were cited by both groups.

Well, it's 30 is major population zones, this is rural. The thought of meeting one of these guys doing 100 is a little bit terrifying. When I was out on a tour, we got passed by a crazy and I was like "fuck yeah, an escort!", I followed him the whole way until we split directions, I'd much rather look for brake lights than ... everything else I might have to look out for...

No, there is a millibitcoin, 1 bitcoin > 1,000 millibitcoin > 1,000,000 bit
The problems with sats is that it doesn't follow steps in 1000's...
That's the reason things got a bit awkward.
Honestly, I'll get used to whatever is common, sats or bits, it's just like using a different currency when you travel, no big deal after a few days of getting used to it 🙂

I know many will disagree, but for me, there has never been a more exciting player to watch when ge was in his prime. Wasnt even a Sixers fan, but watched their games quite often just cuz of him

I am using WoS, the zaps.lol redirects to my WoS address. I can't receive notifications from nostr on the zaps you made me. Also, I can't see any zap on anyone's notes, not just mine. For example, show me someone's post with zaps and I will access the note to see if I can see the zaps also.
