“Ante los rumores que han surgido en las últimas horas, el Madrid comunica que nuestro equipo nunca se ha planteado renunciar a jugar a la final“, fue la frase tajante con la que el club Blanco abrió su último comunicado oficial, despejando cualquier tipo de duda, más allá del malestar que viven puertas adentro tras el fuego cruzado que vivieron con los jueces Ricardo De Burgos Bengoechea y Pablo González Fuertes.
Según informó el diario AS, la decisión se tomó tras una serie de gestiones de la Real Federación Española de Fútbol (RFEF) para calmar las aguas. El Real Madrid, molesto por el accionar de los colegiados había cancelado la conferencia de prensa de Ancelotti, suspendió el entrenamiento previo y se ausentó de la cena protocolar. Temiendo por su posible ausencia al encuentro, desde la Federación se acercaron a la cúpula encabezada por Florentino Pérez y habrían reconocido la inoportunidad de los dichos de los árbitros.
En ese sentido, el colegiado González Fuertes recibiría el castigo de abandonar el Comité Técnicos de Árbitros (CTA) a final de temporada y no dirigir más al Real Madrid en todo lo que resta de la temporada. Aún así, se mantendrá como encargado de impartir justicia en la final de Copa del Rey.
Bajo este contexto, diario Marca agregó que la decisión de mantener la terna arbitral sigue generando “fastidio” en el cuadro madrileño. No solo porque consideran “intolerables” sus declaraciones por su fuerte carga personal, sino porque les preocupa el desempeño en el partido. Sin embargo, priorizaron “los valores del fútbol” y el “respeto a todos los aficionados”.

“Ante los rumores que han surgido en las últimas horas, el Real Madrid C. F. comunica que nuestro equipo nunca se ha planteado renunciar a jugar la final de mañana.
Nuestro club entiende que las desafortunadas e inapropiadas declaraciones de los árbitros designados para este partido, efectuadas 24 horas antes de la final, no pueden manchar un acontecimiento deportivo de trascendencia mundial que verán cientos de millones de personas y por respeto también a todos los aficionados que tienen previsto su desplazamiento a Sevilla, y a todos aquellos que ya están en la capital andaluza.
El Real Madrid entiende que deben prevalecer los valores del fútbol, a pesar de la hostilidad y la animadversión que hoy han quedado de manifiesto, una vez más contra nuestro club, por parte de estos árbitros designados para la final”.
El origen del escándalo y el primer comunicado del Real Madrid
El conflicto nace a partir de un informe publicado por Real Madrid TV, el medio de comunicación de la institución, en donde exhiben presuntos errores de los colegiados en contra del conjunto blanco, sumado a que lo criticaron por supuestamente favorecer al Barcelona en los últimos partidos. Una situación que los referís no dejaron pasar.
En ese sentido, el árbitro González, en conferencia de prensa, declaró: “Estamos viendo en redes sociales a gente anónima que insulta y amenaza sin ningún control. Responsables de redes oficiales de clubes continuamente atacando a nuestro colectivo. No vamos a seguir permitiendo lo que está ocurriendo, en pocas fechas tendréis algo más. No vamos a seguir aguantando lo que estamos aguantando”.
El revuelo generado hizo que La Casa Blanca no se quede de brazos cruzados. Además de las medidas deportivas que tomaron, también publicaron un comunicado en su defensa.
“Consideramos inadmisibles las manifestaciones públicas realizadas. Han puesto el foco de manera sorprendente contra los vídeos de un medio de comunicación amparado en la libertad de expresión, como es Realmadrid TV, demuestran, una vez más, una clara y manifiesta animadversión y hostilidad de estos árbitros contra el Real Madrid“, comienza el escrito.
Y finalizó: “Ante la gravedad de lo sucedido, el Real Madrid espera que los responsables de la R. F. E. F. y del estamento arbitral procedan en consecuencia, adoptando las medidas correspondientes en defensa del prestigio de las instituciones que representan”. Tras horas de especulación, a pesar de no cumplirse el deseo Merengue de que se modifique la terna, habrá Clásico español con un título de por medio.
