The GFY framework
Abstract:
In this note, we explore a whimsical yet insightful relationship between two vectors representing opposing life forces: Good For You (GFY1) and Go Fuck Yourself (GFY2). We formalize the idea that the more something is good for you, the less go fuck yourself is, and vice versa.
Introduction
Life often presents us with choices and experiences that can be broadly categorized as either beneficial or detrimental. To capture this duality mathematically, we define two vectors in an abstract vector space:
GFY1: The Good For You vector, representing positive influences, benefits, and well-being.
GFY2: The Go Fuck Yourself vector, representing negative influences, detriments, and frustration.
Defining the Relationship
Intuitively, these two vectors are inversely related, an increase in one corresponds to a decrease in the other. We express this relationship as:
GFY2 = -GFY1
And consequently:
GFY1 + GFY2 = 0

Ela considera que, para Netanyahu deixar o cargo, seria necessário aprovar uma moção de desconfiança com maioria absoluta (61 votos mínimo) — algo que a oposição, no cenário atual, não tem, segundo ela, capacidade de alcançar.

Pesquisa do Canal 12 indicou que 60% da população quer a renúncia do primeiro-ministro, aquele que por mais tempo permaneceu no cargo em Israel, no total de 16 anos e três meses.
Desde 2019, o país vive uma instabilidade, com cinco eleições ocorrendo para confirmar o bloco de Netanyahu no poder. Ele só deixou o cargo, neste período, por cerca de um ano, entre 2021 e 2022, quando retornou com força, com base no apoio de grupos ortodoxos.
Esta fase de Netanyahu coincide com uma série de acusações contra ele. Ele está sendo julgado pelo Tribunal Distrital de Jerusalém, por suspeitas de suborno, fraude e quebra de confiança, em três casos separados.
Caso seja condenado, poderá recorrer à Suprema Corte e tem resistido, inclusive eleitoralmente, nos últimos anos.
A questão da guerra, que suscitará um comitê investigativo especial, e a polêmica com o ex-chefe do Shin Beit, no entanto, obrigaram ele a fazer um esforço dobrado para se manter no poder.
Nas últimas eleições, realizadas em 1º de novembro de 2022, o partido Likud, liderado por Netanyahu, obteve o maior número de votos e conseguiu formar uma coalizão governista com 64 dos 120 assentos do Knesset.
Esse número aumentou para 67 depois da entrada do partido de Gideon Sa’ar (ministro das Relações Exteriores) na coalizão. Isso, no entanto, não é o único fator que o mantém no cargo.
"Benjamin Netanyahu é, sem dúvida, uma pessoa extremamente inteligente — um dos líderes mais brilhantes do mundo atualmente", afirma Revital. Defesa de Netanyahu
O poder, para Netanyahu, parece ser uma obsessão. A cadeira confortável na sede do governo é o objeto que mais lhe traz segurança. Mesmo em meio à guerra, às sirenes que alertam para bombardeios e à sensação de vulnerabilidade da população.
"Não sou psicóloga, mas a impressão é de que Netanyahu tem dificuldade em imaginar a si mesmo fora do cargo", resume a especialista. "Além disso, ele parece fortemente influenciado por pessoas próximas, especialmente membros de sua família, que demonstram grande interesse na manutenção do poder — nem sempre por razões alinhadas ao bem público."
Revital acrescenta que, com o tempo — e desde que foi formalmente acusado de corrupção, fraude e quebra de confiança em 2018 — a conduta política dele se deteriorou.
"Depois dos eventos traumáticos de 7 de outubro de 2023, esse processo se intensificou ainda mais."

Netanyahu não titubeia em defesa de sua política. Ele rebate as acusações, chamando opositores de hipócritas que querem a rendição do país. Como arma, utiliza a força de seu discurso, para muitos com a eloquência que lembra a do Rei Davi nos tempos em que unificou as tribos de Israel. Ou de um texto da Hagadá, livro que relata a saída dos judeus do Egito.
"Se eu tivesse cedido a esses apelos: não teríamos entrado em Rafah, não teríamos tomado o corredor Filadélfia, não teríamos realizado a Operação Pagers, não teríamos eliminado Sinwar, Deif, Haniyeh ou Nasrallah, não teríamos criado as condições para a queda do regime de Assad e um golpe duro contra o eixo iraniano, não teríamos mudado a face do Oriente Médio", declarou.
O tom dele era quase bíblico, capaz de seduzir qualquer população ávida por recuperar a autoestima e com medo de voltar a ser atacada. "Simplesmente teríamos continuado a viver sob um perigo existencial", completou o primeiro-ministro.
A guerra contra o Hamas pode ter deixado Netanyahu acuado. Mas, nesta política israelense cheia de contradições, também o elevou ao patamar de um líder que, depois dos ataques terroristas, conseguiu, bem ou mal, proteger as fronteiras de Israel.
É nesta crença que ele quer que a população continue se apegando. Para que não o abandone de vez. Até quando, é uma resposta que só os profetas saberiam dar.
