Crust starts at months old piss, dried rotting milk smell, months unwashed yellow (formerly white) bed linen, teeth that you can engrave the yellow orange layer on them with the nail, plus 2 weeks unchanged clothes, avoiding the kitchen because the dishes smell bad, 3 trash bags filled that haven't been taken out to the bin outside, bath/shower drains that have their smell-lock dried out from disuse

Of course, physically anyone can accept cash, but we have scaled our businesses lazily.
Hire staff to do minimum work, not be invested in the company, don't invest in the staff either.
Use banks and the tools they provide to shortcut the payments because "they are the professionals, they know best", yet for other things like marketing or securing your shop, we do most of it ourselves because the professionals are expensive and we can do it ourselves.
Now when shit hits the fan, nothing works, and no one knows how to pivot and keep shit going.
Stuff like this is an opportunity to learn and adapt. Like when the blockchain gets congested, like when exchanges rug you, and so on.
Anyway, at least "chaos" here doesn't mean the same as "chaos" in the US where people just loot.

Part of me wonders if we really need to hide the phrases “public and private keys” from normies. For example, usernames and passwords can be hard for the elderly still but for anyone under 60 it’s fine. If you’re under, say 30, then you can pick up pub/priv key by analogy to username/password.
The reason I say this is because the law of leaky abstractions [1] may creep in and what we thought was a gentle introduction without keys turns into confusion later on.

That testing so far was focused on Intel and AMD systems given my abundance of x86_64 platforms. Last week I began testing Ubuntu 25.04 ARM64 on the System76 Thelio Astra powered by Ampere Altra processors. For those considering the Ubuntu 25.04 upgrade and not minding that it's not a Long Term Support (LTS) release, Ubuntu 25.04 is also allowing for greater performance on ARM hardware.

To obtain the update, perform the following steps:
Open the Settings app
Navigate to Software Updates
Tap on Download and Install
Wait until you see One UI 7 at the top of the page, then tap on Download
Wait for the download to complete, then tap on Install
After you perform the above steps, your tablet will be running One UI 7 based on Android 15, and you can enjoy its new features and with many improvements on place. This makes sure that your experience gets improved.
If you still didn’t get the update for your device, wait for a few days or a few weeks, then check for updates again. If you still see “Your software is up to date,” this means that the update didn’t reach your region yet.
Note that the update process may take 15 to 20 minutes, and this can vary from device to device. The download process may incur extra charges if you’re using the cellular network as the update size is around 5 GB, depending on the device, so we recommend downloading it through Wi-Fi. Never interrupt the update process in any way, or problems may occur. Make sure that your tablet gets charged before you initiate the installation process.
