What Vitor is pointing out here is extremely important, BUT it is very easy to misinterpret it as: "RELAYS ARE TRACKING YOUR NPUB AGAINST EVERY QUERY YOU MAKE"
which is just false, since they can't. They can however see every write that you do. So can everyone else, but they can also associate your IP to it. So use a VPN.
Now what this post is hinting at is that relays CAN do meta analysis to figure out who is querying these posts(by looking at follow lists and author filters) or which IP is browsing what content, so they can create a profile to some degree. Which is why you SHOULD connect to trusted relays.
Just pointing out the hidden details so people don't get the wrong ideas from it.

Bitcoin's core value proposition is its stability and predictability. The protocol rules shouldn't keep changing on a whim. Frequent tinkering undermines confidence. This is why there's so much drama over this tiny OP_RETURN change. We're the opposite of Monero.
Monero'ers seem okay with trusting a centralized team of developers to push major protocol changes and hardforks every six months with no debates or discussions. Everyone just accepts whatever the main developers do, updates their nodes with no second thought or worry about the consequences. Recipe for failure.

I agree with you. A high LTV with 5% interest is not irresponsible IMO. Also making sure you have more BTC to add to collateral if needed can now be called responsible. Not having to sell your Bitcoin and add nice things life education expenses, a new hone, a business, to your life is also being responsible.

mempool policy/standardness is not consensus code. It just extra rules on top that try to reduce the spam on the p2p network and which transactions you want to keep around in your “ready to accept” queue, aka mempool.
Since there could be more transactions you could fit in your system memory, mempool policy helps make sure you see transactions that have non-spammy things like some reasonable min fee or excessive data carrier sizes (this is the controversial bit, whether its worth maintaining that logic you can hack around anyways)
With or without this core setting you can still give the transaction to a miner directly to mine it, since consensus code doesn’t care about policy.
