Con esta victoria, los de Ariel Holan quedaron líderes de la zona B con 35 unidades, el Rojo figura como escolta con 29 puntos y River aparece tercero con 28, aunque debe jugar su compromiso ante Vélez este domingo en el Monumental. Con un triunfo superaría a los de Julio Vaccari.
En paralelo, Instituto, Sarmiento y Godoy Cruz definían el último cupo de la zona B, y finalmente terminó siendo para la Gloria gracias al triunfazo que consiguieron ante Talleres en el Kempes.
Esta noche, desde las 21, Huracán – Barracas y Atlético Tucumán – Lanús cierran la jornada de sábado, en la que el Globo puede asegurar el tercer puesto de la Zona A, y el Granate puede superar a Platense en la zona B para quedarse con el sexto lugar.

Siguiendo su propio sello, Herrón ya tendría en claro el equipo para enfrentar a Tigre. Lo principal es que dejará atrás la línea de cinco defensores que el Xeneize utilizó en el Superclásico y parará un 4-3-3, con un nombre que viene sumando poco rodaje en La Ribera.

Por su parte, el mediocampo será conformado por Tomás Belmonte, Milton Delgado y Carlos Palacios, quien será probado haciendo las veces de interno. Así, la sorpresa estaría en el ataque, sector que tendrá por derecha a Kevin Zenón, Miguel Merentiel como referencia de área y a Alan Velasco por izquierda.
El refuerzo por el que Boca invirtió 10 millones volvería a la titularidad luego de varias semanas. Contra River no ingresó ningún minuto, pero el cambio de esquema por el que apuesta Herrón se presenta a su favor.
