HOW THE HELL DID OpenAI CHARGE A DELETED ACCOUNT?
Short story: back when the LLM hype started, I created an OpenAI account using Apple ID.
That was ages ago.
Later on, I deleted that Apple ID and the OpenAI account linked to it.
Wiped. Gone.
Two weeks ago — my new OpenAI account (which I’ve been using for a while now, this time registered with ProtonMail) had its Plus subscription expire.
So I go to renew it via Apple Pay on my iPhone.
Boom. Apple Pay charges me — but ChatGPT Plus wasn’t assigned to the account I was logged into.
Instead, it somehow gave plus subscription to the deleted account created with that old
AppleID and gives Plus to that.
I can’t even log to that account because it should be deleted.
Excuse me — what the actual fuck?
How is that even possible?
That Apple ID is gone. That OpenAI account is deleted.
They’re not supposed to have any of that data anymore.
So how the hell did OpenAI know where to assign that subscription, when I paid using a different Apple ID?
How did they even assign a subscription for an account that shouldn’t exist?
Either they’re holding onto deleted account data behind the scenes, or there’s something seriously shady going on with Apple Pay.
I reached out to support. After 14 days of silence, they replied:
“Sorry, we can’t refund it. And we can’t transfer Plus to your current account either.
If you paid via Apple Pay, the subscription is tied to the first AppleID registered under Apple and uses same credit/debit card.”
What the hell?!
I’m using a brand new Apple ID — the only common factor is the card number.
Apple doesn’t want to refund it either.
Bunch of clueless dilettante clowns — for real.
So now I’m supposed to pay another $20 to get the thing I already bought?
Fuck off
I SHOULD’VE BOUGHT SATOSHIS INSTEAD.
NO TRANSPARENCY. NO ACCOUNTABILITY.

“Aurora plans to expand its driverless service to El Paso, Texas, and Phoenix, Arizona, by the end of 2025.”
Aurora’s launch customers are logistics companies Uber Freight and Hirschbach Motor Lines, both of which have had “long-standing supervised commercial pilots with Aurora.”
Aurora Driver is reportedly an SAE L4 self-driving system that is being deployed for long-haul trucking for the first time.

At the L4 level, the features of the driverless system can “drive the vehicle under limited conditions and will not operate unless all required conditions are met,” according to the SAE website.

“We founded Aurora to deliver the benefits of self-driving technology safely, quickly, and broadly,” said Chris Urmson, CEO and co-founder of Aurora. “Riding in the back seat for our inaugural trip was an honor of a lifetime—the Aurora Driver performed perfectly.”
Meanwhile, autonomous trucks pose a critical employment issue for truck drivers.

Aurora Safety, DOT Relaxes Rules
Aurora said its flagship truck is fitted with a powerful computer and sensors that enable it to operate safely on highways.
“In over four years of supervised pilot hauls, the Aurora Driver has delivered over 10,000 customer loads across three million autonomous miles,” the company said.
“It has also demonstrated extraordinary capabilities, including predicting red light runners, avoiding collisions, and detecting pedestrians in the dark hundreds of meters away.”
Before beginning operations, Aurora had completed a “safety case” for its vehicles. A safety case is a documented assurance of the vehicle maintaining safety.
The company said it had briefed several government entities about Aurora Driver’s readiness for driverless operations, including the National Transportation Safety Board, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Texas Department of Transportation.

De acordo com a PGR, os denunciados agiram de forma coordenada para lançar ataques à credibilidade das urnas eletrônicas, espalhar desinformação e tentar convencer as Forças Armadas a apoiar um plano de ruptura institucional.

A Primeira Turma do STF conta com cinco ministros entre os onze que compõem a Corte. Fazem parte desse colegiado Alexandre de Moraes, que atua como relator dos processos relacionados à tentativa de "golpe", Cristiano Zanin, atual presidente da turma, além de Flávio Dino, Cármen Lúcia e Luiz Fux.
O tribunal reservou três sessões para discutir as denúncias. As duas primeiras ocorrem nesta terça-feira, com início previsto para às 9h30 da manhã e retomada às 14h. Caso os ministros não cheguem a uma conclusão nesses dois encontros, uma terceira sessão foi agendada para a manhã da quarta-feira.
