No, my counter argument is it's being used in one of the most adversarial environments and free markets on the planet. Every white market transaction is permissioned - which goes against the entire point of Bitcoin.
And the irony that you're parroting the same thing as legacy media and tradfi did about Bitcoin.
How much of that almighty volume is made through permissioned white market exchanges and kept there? Sounds like tradfi with extra steps.
LN is cool for smaller transactions, but how much volume can it do? Even if the hacker did everything properly to remain private on LN, it wouldn't be possible to push that much money into it on any sane timescale. And even if you somehow could, you wouldn't want to hold that much money on Lightning anyway.

thats not a right answer. Now miners can sustain the difficulty because of block subsidy and bitcoin raising in value as asset. At some point, is expected to be found some sort of equilibrium where the tx-fees need to pay entirely the security of the network. I think if in the next 15-20 years bitcoin would see the same use of today, we can say it has failed someway.
In my opinion also the opposite alarmism, about the "security budget" is bullshit. The only metric to consider is adoption, and adoption, in every form, come always with blockspace demand. If theres adoption, so theres blockspace demand, so no problem for bitcoin in any case, equilibrium will come.

Como podemos ser resistentes ao Apocalipse?

No contexto bíblico, nossas possibilidades também são limitadas, pois estaremos lutando contra seres celestiais cuja força vai além do nosso entendimento. Nossas armas humanas não são suficientes para deter seu poder.
Como podemos vencer o Apocalipse?
Para alguns, é o fim; para outros, o início da glória que há de vir. Todo aquele que crê em Jesus Cristo sabe que somente nele podemos vencer, pois temos um Senhor acima de tudo, que protege e tem o controle completo em suas mãos. Ele é fiel para cumprir tudo o que está escrito e além. Somente nele temos a vitória.
Todas as outras formas de sobrevivência podem trazer alguma esperança em uma suposta solução, como buscar anonimato e meios de pagamento seguros, sem utilizar a moeda do governo. Mas, após a morte, o que será feito, já que todos esses meios visam apenas à manutenção da vida? Melhor é estar com Cristo Jesus, que nos guarda de todo mal e nos livra do dano da segunda morte, o Lago de Fogo, mais conhecido como inferno.
