- moderation
i don't want to moderate kind 1's, but i want it to be public
- resources
i can run this relay on a very cheap server since it won't have to scale past the niche use case of code snippets (which could actually get pretty difficult if MCP servers start using this relay for agents, but at least i will only need to deal with increasing resources in that case)

De Amerikaanse president Trump wil illegale immigranten in de VS die vrijwillig terugkeren naar het land waar ze vandaan komen 1000 dollar betalen. Dat heeft het ministerie van Binnenlandse Veiligheid bekendgemaakt. De overheid helpt die migranten ook bij de terugkeer.
Het ministerie laat in een persbericht weten dat immigranten die een speciale app gebruiken waarmee ze aangeven van plan te zijn terug te keren, "minder snel" in aanmerking komen voor opsluiting en gedwongen vertrek.
"Als je hier illegaal bent, is zelf-deportatie de beste, veiligste en meest kosteneffectieve manier om de Verenigde Staten te verlaten en arrestatie te voorkomen", aldus minister Noem.
Het ministerie meldt al een ticket te hebben betaald voor een immigrant die wil terugkeren naar Honduras. Voor de komende twee weken zouden al meer tickets zijn geboekt.
Verkiezingscampagne
De gedwongen deportatie van illegaal in de VS verblijvende migranten was een van de hoofdthema's van de verkiezingscampagne van Trump. Daar probeert zijn regering de laatste maanden werk van te maken, maar het blijkt een dure en complexe opdracht.
De regering wil het Congres om meer geld vragen voor het uitzettingsbeleid, maar daarnaast wordt dus ook geprobeerd illegale immigranten in de VS te verleiden tot 'zelf-deportatie'. Dat gaat gepaard met spotjes op tv met dreigende taal en beelden van arrestaties en mensen die naar een gevangenis in Els Salvador worden gestuurd.
Hoe effectief het zelf-deportatie-programma is, moet nog blijken. Uit een studie uit 2011 van het Migration Policy Institute en het European University Institute bleek dat er wereldwijd tientallen soortgelijke programma's zijn uitgeprobeerd. Op een paar uitzonderingen na bleken die niet erg effectief.
