Tried #nostr but so far my current impression is that it’s a excessively complicated (relays, identities) way to achieve reduced functionality (text-only events) which in turn drives its development towards even more complexity.
Web client like Snort kind of tries to hide this from the user, but try Gossip and you’ll see the whole internals with extra services needed for simple things like hosting media. On top of that add the classic US tech bros “pay for everything” mentality…
Maybe I will see the depth of it after some time 🤔

But it isn't strictly one sided. Everything is a mixed bag and the US allows itself to be taken advantage of by nearly everybody, I just don't see sufficient grounds, with proof to single Isreal out. They are all the same to me. And many European countries lobby the US. Including hiring professional lobbyists and directly courting members of congress.
