Every cryptocurrency aiming to gain value from a use case has an embedded "shitcoin adjustment"...
The shitcoin adjustment is the principle that should any cripto gain value from usage demand, eg gas fee demand, then further increases in price makes the usage too expensive and unusable.
The shitcoin adjustment then kicks in, bringing the price down again, either through market effects directly, or it invites competition from infinately abundant cheaper shitcoins.
To actually gain a sustained long term high value, the shitcoin must abandon the use case narrative, and compete with Bitcoin as money.
Only one token will remain as money, otherwise we'd just be in barter, which isn't something that continues long term in the absence of authoritarian control.
In the free market, all tokens competing as money converge to one. Nothing but Bitcoin is possible now.
