Core: Here's 7 transactions that even your precious filters didn't catch.
Bitcoiners: Here's 2 million transactions that were caught.
Core: You can't censor valid transactions just because you don't like them. They paid a fee!
Bitcoiners: There's millions of Nigerian princes contacting people through email every day. These are "valid transactions" too, yet you send those to spam. This is obviously not censorship, so that argument is deceitful and intellectually dishonest.
Core: What is spam objectively anyway?
Bitcoiners: The receiver - not the sender - gets to decide what's useful to them. You're removing the ability of nodes to decide that, implying you know best.
Core: These transactions will end up in blocks anyway, and we can't incentivize profit-seeking miners to go out-of-band.
Bitcoiners: It's not your job to incentivize or deter miners. Your job is to work on the Bitcoin client while prioritizing the one thing that makes Bitcoin unique and truly decentralized: nodes.
Core: But we want better fee estimation and block propagation.
Bitcoiners: So do we, but never at the expense of decentralization and self-sovereignty. Nodes run the show.
Core: This is a technical discussion. Stop philosophying and using analogies, you plebs!
Bitcoiners: We gave you a technical solution that works, the philosophic rationale and the logical arguments. Stop turning Bitcoin into a shitcoin.

If you're seeing bias here, it's because you're too stubborn to admit that one side is clearly more informed, rational and morally calibrated than the other.
This is why there's distrust in Core. It's got nothing to do with technical competency and rational discourse. It's just pure and simple political shenanigans, whataboutisms, strawman arguments and in some cases sheer lies.

Fico gegen EU: Scharfer Brief aus Moskau an Kallas

In einem scharfen Brief an die EU-„Außenministerin“ Kaja Kallas stellte Robert Fico ihre Autorität infrage und betonte, dass die Slowakei ein souveränes Land sei.
Dutzende Staatschefs aus Afrika, Asien und Lateinamerika feierten am Freitag in Moskau den Jahrestag des Sieges über die deutschen Faschisten. Aus der EU war nur Robert Fico, Premierminister der Slowakei, angereist. Er trotzte heftigem Druck aus Brüssel – das Baltikum hatte sogar den Luftraum für seine Maschine gesperrt. So wurde Fico am 9. Mai der einzige Vertreter der EU in Moskau.
Am Feiertag reagierte Fico scharf auf die Angriffe aus Brüssel und der EU-Kommission, die seine Reise unbedingt hatten verhindern wollen. Statt eines Besuchs in Moskau rief Kallas dazu auf, Kiew zu besuchen, um „Solidarität mit der Ukraine“ zu zeigen. Am heutigen Samstag kam es zudem zu einem Treffen der „Koalition der Willigen“ in der Ukraine.
Fico nahm während seines Besuchs auch an einer Zeremonie zu Ehren von über 60.000 gefallenen Soldaten der Roten Armee in der Slowakei teil. Für den Antifaschisten und Sozialdemokraten Fico dürfte dieser Besuch eine Selbstverständlichkeit gewesen sein.
In seinem auf X veröffentlichten Brief kritisiert Fico Kallas scharf und stellt ihre Autorität infrage. Der Originaltext des Briefes lautet:
Sehr geehrte Frau Hohe Vertreterin der EU für Außenpolitik, Kaja Kallas,
In Bezug auf Ihren kürzlichen Besuch in Moskau habe ich Ihre Äußerungen nicht nur im Zusammenhang mit der heutigen Situation, sondern auch in Verbindung mit der Geschichte, Wladimir Putin, der Präsident der Russischen Föderation, bemerkt. Sie behaupten, dass ich nicht auf der richtigen Seite der Geschichte stehe, und machen ähnlich tiefgründige geopolitische Aussagen.
Erstens bin ich in Moskau, um an einer Feier zu Ehren von mehr als 60.000 Soldaten der Roten Armee teilzunehmen, die in der Slowakei für die Befreiung gestorben sind. Ich sehe nicht, dass diese mutigen Menschen mit der derzeitigen internationalen Situation zu tun haben.
Zweitens haben Sie als hochrangige Beamtin der Europäischen Kommission absolut keine Befugnis, den souveränen Premierminister eines souveränen Landes zu kritisieren, der sich auf bilateraler Ebene mit Fragen befasst, die er für richtig hält.
Drittens stimme ich der Politik eines neuen Eisernen Vorhangs, an dem Sie arbeiten, nicht zu – im Gegenteil.
Viertens frage ich Sie: Wie kann Diplomatie und Außenpolitik funktionieren, wenn Politiker nicht bereit sind, miteinander zu sprechen und einen normalen Dialog über Themen zu führen, bei denen sie unterschiedlicher Meinung sind?

Die Reaktionen auf den Brief zeigen die tiefe Spaltung innerhalb der EU. Während einige EU-Bürger die Stellungnahme des slowakischen Regierungschefs lautstark feierten und unterstützten, wurde er von anderen beschimpft. Fakt ist: Kallas hat sich mit ihrer Aufforderung (Mitte April sagte Kallas: „Ich habe alle Mitgliedsstaaten aufgefordert, Kiew zu besuchen, um unsere Solidarität mit der Ukraine zu zeigen.“) nicht vollständig durchgesetzt.
Ein kleines mitteleuropäisches Land hat sich widersetzt. In Moskau soll Fico auch versichert haben ( https://t.me/niemeyeroffiziell/10990 ), dass er ebenso wie Ungarns Viktor Orban den von der EU-Kommission geplanten Gas-Sanktionen nicht zustimmen werde.

NATO-Propagandisten haben Fico aus diesem Grund bereits „heftige Proteste“ in Bratislava vorhergesagt. Doch seine Koalition scheint weiterhin stabil zu sein – und er bleibt der demokratisch legitimierte Regierungschef des Landes.
