But i don't completely agree with you.
Because it had open a debate (yes some have dirty words...).
And if there is a debate, aside the rage quit, it bring light on interesting points. So it is nicer, than no debate and hiding things.
bitcoin will survive to this, because of this, and in a way his 3 entities (devs/miners/nodes) structure forge a more resilient base to human nature.
We can't say the same about fiat bank system.

I have face a deep fake today on #nostr and i have a question about it.
Would it better to let everyone do his own analysis here about that ? (i've seen some comment that some trust it)
Or would it be better to alert a little about it each time someone see it ?
If i stay quiet it means only "one side view", and a flood of this only one voice. If i say something i could be considered "against" the author of the deep fake, even if i think he is a victim himself of a system.
Trust is hard to gain, on this "so anonymous" network of free speech.

I'm picturing myself driving and having a fire note to drop. . .
I hold down a button voice to text opens up I say my note and then when I release it sends.
No other interface needed other than maybe a text editor.
Could do the same with a camera app...
Productivity gains would be nice but I'm also thinking of people in protest trying to get information out right before they get gassed.

Yes if there is a lot of transactions to be written fees are higher, it is the way.
But spam could add extra fee here with time.
If there is an economic profit usage of this spam space (like proposing to a lot of people to write their short name on the blockchain for $10, or any stupid reasons like this), it could be a problem but i get we haven't reach this case yet... we have to wait for human imagination or AI one.
You know it is really interesting to have this kind of Q/A.
Because bitcoin is for a lot of people on earth now.
And few people only decide what they put on the blockchain.
So it is also important to share point of view, and put light on some unclear side.
This should always be the way to lead discussions about BTC and about his future.
Avoid any exchange feels like there is something to hide, and make some people suspicious or very angry.
If you think about it there is not so much concern about BTC now.
so it is easy to list them and have a clear reply about it, like we did on one point and questions associated to it.
