I've never cared to 'call the top' in terms of stocks, but it's fairly easy to 'call the top' in terms of a vision that has played out long enough and is soon to be replaced by a new, fresh vision of what is to come.

Deputado tenta barrar eventos que tenham discurso de ódio a apoiadores de Bolsonaro
O deputado estadual Diego Castro (PL-BA) protocolou nesta segunda-feira uma ação popular na Justiça na tentativa de suspender o financiamento público de eventos culturais que possam promover discursos de ódio contra apoiadores do ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
Segundo o parlamentar, a iniciativa ocorre depois da apresentação da banda Bozo Kill em eventos financiados com recursos estaduais do governo baiano. “O grupo possui músicas com teor ofensivo e violento, incluindo referências explícitas à morte de Bolsonaro e de seus eleitores”, afirmou.

Diego Castro cita como um exemplo de “incitação ao crime” pelo grupo Bozo Kill, as composições artísticas da banda que fazem menção ao autor do atentado a faca contra o ex-presidente durante as eleições de 2018.
Na ação judicial, o deputado estadual solicita a suspensão imediata de repasses de verbas públicas a grupos que, segundo sua argumentação, “desrespeitem o princípio da impessoalidade e promovam conteúdo que possa ser interpretado como incitação à violência”.
Perseguição aos apoiadores de Bolsonaro
Nas redes sociais, Diego Castro compartilhou um vídeo em que critica o uso de recursos públicos em iniciativas culturais com teor político: “Não podemos permitir que o dinheiro do contribuinte seja usado para atacar adversários políticos”.

O deputado sinalizou que o uso de recursos públicos para eventos com discursos de ódio contra apoiadores de Bolsonaro configura uma “tática totalitária, digna de regimes autoritários como Cuba e Venezuela”. Ele também fez críticas ao governador da Bahia, Jerônimo Rodrigues (PT).
“Já não bastasse o governador da Bahia ultrapassar todos os limites, incitando a violência contra conservadores e apoiadores de Bolsonaro, revelamos algo ainda mais absurdo: o financiamento de bandas que pregam ódio e até a morte de Bolsonaro”, declarou Diego Castro. “Isso é institucionalizar a perseguição aos apoiadores de Bolsonaro na Bahia e a direita com a máquina pública.”

That combination of stable funding and long-term thinking produced core contributions to a wide variety of fields, including wireless and optical communications, information and control theory, microelectronics, computer software, systems engineering, audio recording, and digital imaging. Accumulating more than 30 000 patents, Bell Labs also played host to a long string of scientific breakthroughs, garnering six Nobel Prizes in physics and many other awards.
The funding came in large part from what was essentially a built-in "R&D tax" on telephone service. Every time we picked up the phone to place a long-distance call half a century ago, a few pennies of every dollar—a dollar worth far more than it is today—went to Bell Labs and Western Electric, much of it for long-term R&D on telecommunications improvements.
In 1974, for example, Bell Labs spent over $500 million on nonmilitary R&D, or about 2 percent of AT&T's gross revenues. Western Electric spent even more on its internal engineering and development operations. Thus, more than 4 cents of every dollar received by AT&T that year went to R&D at Bell Labs and Western Electric."

Being a good and loving parent means telling your child “no.” Every parent has had these conversations.
“No, you can’t have M&Ms for dinner; eat your broccoli.”
“No, you can’t stay up until midnight. Your bedtime is ten.”
“No, you can’t hang out with Chad who’s always high; find some friends who will have a better influence on you.”
But when it comes to gender transitioning, saying “no” could be dangerous. If your son decides to socially transition and begins calling himself a girl, and you don’t unconditionally affirm that decision, then you could risk losing him if you’re ever in a child custody battle.
Some advocates of gender transitioning say that socially transitioning is harmless. After all, what does it matter if your son starts to use female pronouns and wear dresses? The higher the stakes to vulnerable lives if we make the wrong decision, the more essential it is that everyone should have the freedom to share their perspective.
The reason is simple: free speech is a powerful vehicle for discovering the truth of a matter, because it allows everyone involved to bring their perspective and their knowledge to bear on the question. When we don’t allow all parties to speak freely, we increase the risk of making bad decisions because the blind spots and cognitive biases of the people who are allowed to speak do not get confronted. But we should remember that most parents know their children and love their children far better than a judge ever could. Perhaps the most caring thing we can do for young children right now is to empower parents to raise them as the parents see fit, without unnecessary and intrusive political oversight from state agents.
