A Justiça decidiu que o Cemitério Alto da Colina, em Guaxupé (MG), poderá continuar funcionando, mas com a condição de que sejam feitas melhorias para evitar qualquer risco de contaminação ambiental. A decisão foi tomada após uma longa batalha judicial, que já se estendia há cerca de 20 anos.

A ação foi movida pela Associação Sítio da Tia Marianinha, de Arceburgo, que questionava a localização do cemitério por estar próximo a duas nascentes do Rio Japy — área que abastece o sistema da Copasa e é fundamental para o fornecimento de água do município. A preocupação era que a proximidade do cemitério com a área de captação pudesse comprometer a qualidade da água consumida pela população.
A Prefeitura de Guaxupé defendeu a legalidade da construção, argumentando que o novo cemitério era necessário devido à superlotação do antigo, e que o projeto respeitou a distância mínima de 300 metros do curso d’água, superior aos 200 metros exigidos por lei.

Segundo o juiz Milton Furquim, responsável pela decisão, a questão foi definida com base em perícia técnica, mas uma série de adequações foram recomendadas.
"O local continua sendo próprio, apropriado realmente para a instalação do cemitério. No entanto, face necessário que haja algumas melhorias, conforme você citou aí, para que o cemitério continue funcionando e sobretudo para garantir a não contaminação do lençol freático", disse o juiz Milton Furquim.
Entre as exigências estão a manutenção periódica do sistema de drenagem, o controle de erosões, e a conservação dos jazigos. Parte dessas ações deve ser adotada imediatamente, e outras devem perdurar enquanto o cemitério estiver em funcionamento, como forma de preservar o lençol freático e evitar riscos de contaminação das fontes que abastecem o município.
A decisão também determina que a Prefeitura de Guaxupé apresente, em até 30 dias, um cronograma detalhado das ações a serem realizadas. O Ministério Público ficará responsável por fiscalizar a execução das melhorias
A reportagem da EPTV tentou contato com a Prefeitura para saber se já foi definida a equipe que ficará responsável pelas manutenções exigidas, mas não obteve resposta atualizada. No entanto, em nota divulgada no dia 6 de maio, a administração municipal informou que já havia iniciado obras de revitalização no Cemitério Alto da Colina, incluindo a construção de uma nova capela, reformas no IML, instalação de calçadas, guias e muros, além de serviços de paisagismo e limpeza.

I am not on anyone's side bug my own. I think core was naive in thinking that no one would get the hump with being frozen out of forums. That said, and I wasn't there, apparently abuse was being thrown about.
The simple fact is, no matter how many nodes apply filters, ultimately it will do nothing unless they get the miners to do the same. That is unlikely as they make more profit without those filters.

I’ve been posting a lot about how sovereignty is as good for business as for end users. Nostr is a protocol where businesses can build sovereignty respecting apps … without sacrificing profit or IP. This is a new paradigm, that welcomes business apps to offload more and more of their “non essential” black box data onto the public network, while simultaneously offering them tools to harvest and make use of this same “free to access” data submitted from other apps. It’s a paradigm where businesses gain trust from the public network, simply by being good at running their business. B2B services and an ecosystem of small business apps. This is the new paradigm.
Wonder how content creators will fit into this new paradigm … adding a different kind of value than in the “black box” or “attention economy” paradigms?
